I get why you are putting the stop on 40F. I rode up from Florida to WV in April in 15 hr gas-n-go 1000+ miles. I arrived in WV at 2.30am with a temp of 36F, however I had been doing 85mph up i-81 and taking the chill factor into account made it was like 15F when I arrived at my destination. I do have a heated leather jacket but was still cold, but my legs was numb! I was afraid when I took the exit off I-81 and had to stop at the lights whether I could hold my bike up (2019 RGS), luckily I could, but I will say I have NEVER been so cold in all my life! Night riding in those temps at that speed is NOT a good idea!
Really like what you guys are doing with the bike and can't wait for more to come. However anything that makes your bike more visible is very important and a huge safety accessory. I would not of removed those reflectors!
Very cool....Cam....you'll need the lift adapter kit part # 98965-99 from Harley. HD put a brace on the right side that won't allow a flat lift to raise the bike evenly. Put the kit on when needed and it gives you a flat bottom for the lift. If someone has another way I'd be interested in hearing. :)
Fishing line is your best friend heat it up make a loop around it and pull should cut right thure the adhesive on thoes reflectors if done right Lil to no thumb ake when done

Get a 100 ft. Extension cord for your heated vest. That way you can walk around and stay warm.😂
