that thing is cleaner than the board of health......I could never afford something like that but, that's exactly the type of daily driver I dream of❤
LOL I like that one just may have to use it someday ;-)
What a wonderful time capsule. Love these 49-51 Fords, hope whoever keeps her in the future keeps her this way.
We call that Ford a twin spinner in Australia 🇦🇺 .
Had one myself . Sold it with 221000 miles on the clock. Great car
That's what I learned to drive on. Brings back many good memories. Also tells you how old l am.
Definitely a gem of a ride brother I like it. 👍✌️
Column Shift manual looks so much more convenient to use.
Great to hear an American complement the old "three on tree" gears that nearly every 55 years plus Australian grew up with.

My grandpa was telling me the first car he drove was manual but had to change gears on top. I think he was referring to this. Were they all called 3 on the tree?
My 22 year old aunt bought this exact 1951 Ford (same color) new in '51 for $1,650,
when I was 5! It was supposed to be my first car, but only lasted until 1961, at age 15!
A beautiful car for that year but quickly became 'dated', when the ultra modern 1952 model
came out! p.s. The front Ford decal was stolen weeks after purchase & never replaced!
Cool story THANK YOU for sharing!
Great car
My father had a light green 1951 4 door sedan.
Love it, great video, thank you Nathan ❤️

That’s a sweet car Nathan 😊
The Patrol Car from 1950s TV show "LINEUP" on U--tube.
Funny, I was thinking the same thing. I love watching that show. Filmed on location.
There after market tail light lens on the rear . 👍

Estos pobres Fords ,son los mas customizados,, esperemos este se salve. 🎥👏
Who are you working with, Hubcaps Lesh?
Beautiful! But why's the catylist sticker missing underhood?
LOLOL.... There was no such thing in 1951 Chachi.... ;-)

I knew you would be videobombed some time in this video lol Good 'ole Vlad did it again.
He knows what I am doing somehow Charles.... If he is NOT in the video it means he went to swimming lessons or is at Grandpa and Gransma's house ;-) HE LOVES BEING IN VIDEOS~~~!!!

I had a 51 Ford Custom Deluxe 4dr. It had stainless trim down the side just above the wheel wells, continuing around the back. This Custom looks kind of plain Jane.
How do they know that has 15,000 miles
Good question. If it's not documented then the 15,000 on the odometer means nothing. I don't doubt that it's an all original time capsule but I would simply say the odometer shows 15,000 miles.
I recall seeing a 1951 Ford just like this one in 1962 with 18,000 miles
on it. It was owned by Mrs Henry J. Smith director of the B&O railroad.
No one drove her car but her. She would drive it daily to the mail box
half mile away on their estate and to church on Sunday, five miles away.
The driver's door had absolutely no wear on it! This leaves me to think
this vehicle has way more than 15,000 miles on it.
Too bad it's not a Meteor 🇨🇦
That 4door Ford 51 match box is not worth much as the 2dr coup. Look it up. I would buy a 2dr right now I had the money
No joke You gotta be Kidding me.....
@CerealMarshmallows I am not kidding dude. Look look it up
Tail lights are not original 😮.
Really? What makes you say that I would like to know more if you could please help me out and teach me a bit on this one?
