5:07 could pls smb explain what this position node does, why is it necessary, and what if i have several objects in the nodes, then how shall the position node know wich object i mean? does smb know a good vector math tutorial? thats the main reason why i did not dive into geo nodes yet :/
could u show a workflow that includes the compositor and the editing area pls? dont know why but i kina cant wrap my mind around that, lets say in minute 25:00 u realize that u wanted to add a few compositing effects to ur video, how would u do that the fastest most efficient way? it would be so cool if we could simply drag compositing node effects on the editing time line... or reverse, if we could drag the video clips we r editing rn in the compositor (in the same blend file) technically blender then could replace after effects and davinci resolve, imagine doing litteraly everything in 1 single programm, damn...
Seriously Ryan. Thank you so much for all the tutorials you've been making. I've been a Maya used for about 20 years, and I find Blender really confusing to work with. And I'm sure I'm not the only one to say this. Your tutorials are the ones I mostly refer to because the way you explain things, it's really clear. Often Blender users who make tutorials speak at 200 miles p/h and forget that these tutorials are mostly for novices like myself. So, again, you're really appreicated by all of us. Just purchased and finished this last night, a great learning experience and was fun! I wonder, as this is organic looking, what would it take and look like to add a wet slime dripping from it! Abstract Honeycomb Sphere Satisfying Animation Loop (Geometry Nodes)

if anyone is following this since the last blender update, they changed the default color management setting to "agx" instead of the previous "filmic". this causes the emission shader to look washed out. this is good for realism, but it was driving me nuts when i couldnt figure out why my emission shader looked so much different
thanks these videos are so helpful. I have learned so much!! do you plan on making videos about motion tracking/camera solving/masking etc? or do you have any on your channel? I could only find one from that involved putting a "blur on a face", I would love to see more of these videos and related topics. thanks!
