I really like it when this setting gets more “Eldridge” if you know what I mean, you get it with these guys worshipping forgotten entities, you definitely get it with the church of metamorphosis and their whole deal and I really want to know more about it, my personal theory is that it might be something like the demiurge if anyone is familiar with that, but I’d love to hear other people opinions a explanations.
I just hope it doesnt get too lovecraftian, for me trench crusade was a fresh idea exploiting in a cool way tradicional religious mythology. The cosmic horror is already exploited by enough lores out there like warhammer 40k, conan. Etc, and trench crusade works perfectly fine without it
@chernovolk5095 I agree in some respects, but having a faction of elder gods and eldritch things on the edge of hell telling mutant moth/fly people what to do is kind of interesting atleast. I agree if there were too much of it, i.e all of hell was like that and it's suddenly 50% of the game then sure, but one faction? Go for it.
@@Just_call_me_Billy I can neither confirm nor deny that I am currently working on videos for the church of metamorphosis, and despite it barely having lore and no minis it may or may not be my favourite heretic faction.
@@chernovolk5095 don’t get me wrong I don’t even like love craftian horror nor do I think it should take a large role in this setting, but there’s already precedent for it, and I definitely think there’s a place for it in small lore tidbits as well as the church of metamorphosis, but I agree that it shouldn’t be any sort of meager antagonist or influence at least not right now
