@LeGuardImperialis well, there's a bit of debate in the community about this at the moment. I think there being 12 paladins is just a nod to the number 12 being important in a lot of religions including Christianity. if anyone is the apostles, I think it might actually be the metachrists, the most pure communicants as they were the first to receive communion from the militant christ the lion himself. At some point after so many communions made from them, it makes sense they'd have to start cloning the flesh just so they didn't actually fully eat the apostle. Again, that's me speculating but it could be cool.

Maybe, but i think the comparisons to 40k are a bit lazy/unfair. Yes they have their similarities but we can appreciate both for what they are rather than seeing one as a copy of the other, in my opinion.

There's a huge amount of potential and it seems like the creators are taking the time and care to address that. It's a really interesting time for the lore and the game and I'm excited to see where it goes

It looks like tanks of either gas or liquid, kind of like the biologus purifier and some of the other backpacks like the plague spewers. It could also be potentially a plague spitter gauntlet like the deathshroud. If it is a gauntlet, it'll probably be a new virion lord.

That's the thing isn't it? DG fans would love more stuff but the army already has the most unique models in its range compared to the other legion specific stuff. Personally I like that the EC will be (supposidly) releasing with a cacophonie lord, an Ec generic lord, new noise marines and their own redesigned legionnaires kit. If anyone's hearing that here first, subscribe and tell me how wrong i am when the releases happen.

I disagree, I like running him in with a block of heavy and bubotic weapons from the plague marines. Push them up the board in the plague bus and hold out causing mortals for a round or so. Everyone's play styles different though, and I can see why some would choose a different unit for the role

Personally I think it's a problem at the warehouse, either something automated is making errors or people arent checking what they're packing. The real question is, when it happens, how many of these are hitting the market? Because I can't imagine it's just 1 model a time, it could be whole batches/ runs of models.

Well this is only one character, and while I think it might be the standard lord, I can see them releasing the lord of poxes too. The lord of contagion might be an entire new sculpt since the dark imperium box is a bit old now and as far as I know it was on a sprue with another model which would need a redesign.

I already want it, and when I get it, I'll be painting it on the channel... (maybe.. don't hold me to that lol)

The Free State of Prussia was, up until 1932-1933 when the federal German government effectively couped it. The Kingdom of Prussia that preceded it and was in place in real-life 1914 wasn't particularly democratic, though, whether before or after founding the German Empire.

I wouldn't see why not, i certainly haven't heard of any of them saying they won't be.

Well there are the Crusader orders, and Prussia was founded by tutoric knights so it stands to reason they're still around. It may even be the case that the tutonic order IS the free state of Prussia.

@Roylevis that's fair, I think there was talk of a Jewish faction with golem as their heavies. There's also Prussia being worked on, and the church of metamorphosis for the Heretics. I'm also wondering if the trench ghosts will be made in to a full faction, as there is concept art for them.

Don't worry there's plenty more trench crusade on the way, I've just finished editing 2 5-6 min videos to put out in the next few days and the black grail video is ready to be recorded. Already filled an A4 pad with scrips and started on another.

@kaboomluong9373 I think with the heretic legions having warwolf assault Beasts they might stick to those being the werewolf of the setting. I personally think it would be cool to see eastern European folk monsters as a faction, maybe the wallacian knights are the elites, baba yoga's hut on its chicken legs could be the heavy unit. Maybe the leaders are vampire nobles and bog witches, then you could have the troops being some kind of igor like things. They could be kind of like a mix of jaberean alchemy (but with witchcraft instead) and heavy armoured knights.

Not entirely..... but surely this is God's divine will right?....right?

It certainly is, everything is getting there at a great pace, the response has been phenomenal and far better than I expected. I've learned a huge amount already in 4 weeks, and just passed 1000 watch hours this morning which is a huge milestone for a small channel. I can't thank my viewers enough.

I think the turks and the wallacians have bigger fish to fry at the moment. I imagine most of the turks are either dead or behind the iron wall with the sultans forces but more lore on the survivors of bizantium would be cool.

i think there are actually.plans to make them in to a full warband, ive seen the beginnings of a heavy mech suit digital sculpt for them, and the soldier in the video is actually a named character. check out the trench crusade instagram for the renders and a bit of her lore (or wait for me to cover it in a couple of days)

@Panda-Paku well the order of the dragon are specifically crusader knights aligned to the church and bound by unbreakable penance oaths. As for the other vampires of the setting, that's anyone's guess, but your theory is as good as any until we get more official lore.

I just hope it doesnt get too lovecraftian, for me trench crusade was a fresh idea exploiting in a cool way tradicional religious mythology. The cosmic horror is already exploited by enough lores out there like warhammer 40k, conan. Etc, and trench crusade works perfectly fine without it

@chernovolk5095 I agree in some respects, but having a faction of elder gods and eldritch things on the edge of hell telling mutant moth/fly people what to do is kind of interesting atleast. I agree if there were too much of it, i.e all of hell was like that and it's suddenly 50% of the game then sure, but one faction? Go for it.

@@Just_call_me_Billy I can neither confirm nor deny that I am currently working on videos for the church of metamorphosis, and despite it barely having lore and no minis it may or may not be my favourite heretic faction.

⁠​⁠@@chernovolk5095 don’t get me wrong I don’t even like love craftian horror nor do I think it should take a large role in this setting, but there’s already precedent for it, and I definitely think there’s a place for it in small lore tidbits as well as the church of metamorphosis, but I agree that it shouldn’t be any sort of meager antagonist or influence at least not right now
