...this cake is amazing... finally a chocolate cake easy to make - quick - and far more delicious than any of the cakes I bought recently... This is a recipe for an afternoon of decadence, enjoyment and the sharing of happy deliciousness - without much time to invest in preparation... definitely a recipe to keep! Thank you so much for the wonderful video.
Thomas pls do a video on the difference between couverture choc and regular baking chocolate. What it’s best used for and how to tell which chocolate to use for baking or making candies. Thanks , looking forward to it. #kitchenconundrums
Thank you so much for this recipe! I always want to make a chocolate tart but I know no one wants to really eat it because of all of the chocolate and cream! I love these videos!
@@katenpp Thanks. Odd though that the video says to use a pre baked crust but the recipe says refrigerate for 30 mins. I don't understand why they can't marry up the two presentations!
Thomas is Great 👍Love him. What I really don’t understand are the individuals who are giving 👎 Why?? Thomas’s videos are informative and fun to watch plus I have tried few of his recipes and turned out delicious 😋 Thank you Thomas 👍❤️🙂
In the linked recipe, the cookie crumb crust calls for 2 cups crumbs and only 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Can that possibly be correct? Every other crumb crust recipe I've looked at calls for a minimum of 4 tablespoons butter. Can anyone offer this non-cook some advice?
Do you have to use a blind baked crust or can you make something else as a crust? I saw his blind baking video and it didnt look easy to make a crust like that.
Maybe I'm just a weakling, but I can never chop chocolate without working up a sweat, not to mention having it fly everywhere. I just blitz it in a blender lol.
For me a hard part of making a tart is removing the whole tart from the pan bottom prior to slicing. I wish he had shown how. Sometimes during blind baking sticky spots develop. And, it's not good to cut slices directly the way the lovely Thomas did, it will eventually ruin your tart pan.
You guys need better lighting for your primary shots with Thomas. Noticed on many videos that front wash is totally weak compared to the light coming in from behind and to the left of TJ.
Nope i tried it ... didn't like it at all .. the cream diluted the chocolate flavour for sure ...@ 20 mns it was jst liquid...it took me abt 40 mns to get the right consistency ... and for those in India best way to imagine this dish is .. chocolate china grass (dessert) in a pie .. ☹
Probably easily can! A lot of dark chocolates are already vegan even if they're not branded/marketed as that. Any vegan cream, and maybe for the egg something that would also set, maybe a ground chia or flax 'egg'? It would definitely interfere with the flavor but that's the closest thing to it
Swoon worthy and the tart also looks good.
I made this today with graham cracker crust. It came out very nicely with that lovely shine. Great recipe!
Did you baked it? Noticed it was biscuit crust?

@@lesleyburgess6964 You refrigerate the crust so it sets, then bake it, and there you have your pre baked crust ;) Says so in the recipe hehe

Delicious
Thank you Thomas, it looks quite delicious! 😋 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great demo, thanks! I'd love to be shown how to transfer this tart off the metal bottom to a serving plate.
I tried this today and everyone just loved it. Bt I had to bake it for abt 40-45 mins. At 20 mins it was all liquid.
You had me at custard. Literally every dessert is better with custard.
I really enjoy all your videos, great info and recipes. Thank you!
💗 Looks delicious
Very delicious.
Ciao! Love the detail of the pencil behind your ear Lol! Same as street food vendors in Italy! This tart recipe is insane
What's the difference between Whipped cream and Creme fraiche?
Looks great! I like mine with mayo
Dang. He's a great cook, and a baker. He's extremely handsome, yet no wedding ring. I'd date him in a second!

Would it work well with ruby chocolate?

Thank you for your Video. Can a Flax Egg Used for this if One cannot have Eggs due to Allergy? TY For the Great Demonstration ♡♡♡
can i use full cream as substitute to heavy cream?
Awesome recipe, can you teach us how to make white chocolate ganache please
Saba Tariq it’s the same as normal ganache... unless I’m totally missing something...
Hi, Thomas. Does this recipe also work with white chocolate?
Hey Thomas, plz suggest what can we add in place of egg????
could you explain why souffle pancake might come out wrong at times?
How to make the chocolate base?
Do you have to use a blind baked crust or can you make something else as a crust? I saw his blind baking video and it didnt look easy to make a crust like that.
It looks perrrrrfect but mine was ruined just the crust rocked
I’m turned on
What is the recipe for the cookie crust?
Everyone watch Rie from Tasty, she explains it perfectly

I can relate...
Believe me ... you're not the only one qwq

Ok
The tart made of what ? The basis
How low temperature?
Amazing...
I love you.
Any egg replacement option?
Hey. I'm going to try it with a quarter cup of silken tofu. Did you ever make it? What replacement did you use?
That ganache reminds me of silky nutmeg
Now, not only do i want to eat something chocolatey , i want to watch '' 7 days " ... ҉
I wanna marry this guy ❤️❤️
And honestly, it's 2019, please add captions.
You're free to make them and submit them to Everyday Food. After all, it's 2019. Honestly.
Should the milk warmed or just room temp?
Rizki Permatasari always use room temperature in baking as it will combine better. Egg also should be at room temp.
