5410. The keyboard is stretched further towards the side ends that looks and feels better to type. That's one major difference that I know and would choose the 5410 for.
@@bufaisal1252 okay so there's 2 parts to this answer, 1. Yes it's suffice for an engineering student as long as you got the i5 minimum however... 2. I would recommend upgrading the RAM to 16GB for you (you can do it yourself rather than spec it to save money) and also maybe upgrade the storage if you find your self running low.
There's no actual place for it in this model... for some reason they removed that feature from the previous model.. however all is not loss. Around the frame of the laptop it has magnetic points the pen cam latch on to.. only thing is they aren't super strong. Just move your pen around your laptop you'll find the mag points

I bought this laptop about two months ago and i´ve been practicing with the dell active pen and i can say that it has good precision and you can take pretty good notes with it.
Depends what you are programming. If its just apps then the i5 is fine. If you are doing heavy programming then I'd say you go for the i7 potentially but ideally you want something with a better cooling option

I just replied to your old thread. Think I may have CV19 the video is on final stages of edit but the symptoms have me out at the moment. Hopefully early or midweek I'll have the video out. In short for gaming though the device performs alright but make sure it's plugged in when gaming to achieve best frame rate. Without it plugged in it was performing at below 26FPS which was pretty much unplayable.

Hey, I'm currently using this device still as my main laptop and is working perfectly fine. I should mention I don't frequently use it in its tablet mode but do find myself using it in the tablet mode every now and then when I'm reading the Google feed in bed. It's nice to have the versatility but if you think you won't use it then yeah go for the clamshel version ;)

@@akayem550 the clamshel has the best processor but will also have the worst battery. The 733 usd one will be ample but I'd advise the clamshel for your needs unless you think you'll use the 2 in 1 feature
You'll be benefiting for a screen that is 1Inch bigger with the 5518 and the 5410 has a 2 in 1 option so really it's personal preference :) have a look at both machines and see which one you prefer. (try go and actually see them so you can get hands on but performance wise they will be pretty much same)
Purchase the 5410 2 in 1. The touchscreen and tablet mode come really handy if you would take down notes with the Dell stylus that go with it. Best for students. I use a HP Spectre X360 13 2020 and you can never go back without touchscreen once you start taking notes.
Dell 7400 is a more premium device would have been built with more premium materials and offer a more advanced cooling solution however is not a 2 in 1
Hey a more detailed review video is coming out soon and i will address this, but F.Y.I the outer material of this laptop as far as im aware is polycarbonate plastic. im not sure if it's infused with anything because it feels way more premium but once i have the details i will address it in the upcoming video.

They differ by regions. But the model I have is the non fingerprint model and it has same colour as laptop keys.. its actually slightly lighter but if you get the model with fingerprint scanner I believe the keys are darker

the versions we have in the UK are not Anti-glare and most likely the versions you have in India will also not be Anti-glare but you are right Anti Glare is better for daylight use - as for touch Screen, honestly for me touch screen at the moment doesn't make a big difference, the only time i use it is when i have the laptop in tablet mode but even then it's not an intuitive experience (its nice but not intuitive) however when Windows 11 launches the touch screen experience should be much better, so this device is prepped for the future
