20:17 I remember having a checkmate like that in a game, and I was calculating pawn takes and remembered that checkmate. Glad to see it on the board again!
Good to see the playlist is still around. I have been saving this one untill I reached 1900 myself. I finally get to watch it. Show me the way to 2000.
The last game, the King's gambit amidst an unusual position, was wild and crazy and fun to watch once in a while 😆 Good to learn how you handle various types of games. Thank you!
Fantastic first checkmate Nelson. So little time left. You are an inspiration. My game has really improved from watching you play. Sorry to hear about your blood clot. May not be related but many blood clots are being linked to Cvd 19 vacinations.
Just got to check I guess. I don't get any notifications but his stream is usually at or near the top of the TH-cam on my screen and has red telling me it's live. I couldn't watch it today since I was busy.
Man 1:23:39 game I couldn't understand why you didn't block his bishop with your bishop protected by your rook. Stockfish even showed it as a move (green arrow) later on and you skipped thinking about it even then while reviewing ;)
No at 1:18:53, Nelson has THREE pieces covering F3 square, he could have blocked with the bishop here, exchanged bishops by recapturing with the knight. The rooks COULD get involved but not necessarily.@@MinotaurvsCyclops
However it's like they would get involved as he would have a check on the white king and moving it could be disadvantagous since the knight then could ALSO capture the pawn on the edge of the board attacking the rook twice.
@@MinotaurvsCyclops Actually no, at 1:23:06 after castling the rook sits on the F file protecting the square I expected the bishop to jump to "F3", effectively blocking the light square bishop he was most worried about later. Yeah sorry, the time I put in my first comment you replied to above was after he started the review - my bad. If the bishop takes then Nelson's rook would recapture and also attack the GG on the 3rd rank.
How do you not know move 4 of your line against Nc6 Sicilian (Nc3 is not one of the best moves)? If you put some effort into learning theory, maybe you’d make IM.
@@ChessVibesOfficial would’ve been true 3 months ago too. Perhaps too harsh or something but you’ve said how you’re miles away from this or that player…maybe the gap is a bit more “bridgeable” than it seems.
Dude starts the video then leaves. Seriously man edit these videos and get rid of the live chat format. It only hurts the videos. Very sloppy format and production for how great a teacher you are.
Levy starts his videos by staring at us for two seconds. Nelson starts his videos by leaving the room for two minutes.
LOL
Nelson is the boss
Chess players are patient people.
vanishing man gambit
This comment will stand the test of time

Love that last game and checkmate. Super fun all around.
The sheer joy at the end of game one was good to see.
That was a really odd but fun assortment of games. One of the most entertaining in the series so far.
*Opponent blunders Qxa4*
"err... it's time to charge the mouse" 😆
220 was a great game man, awesome, punched the air like you did :)
19:48 This was definitely one of those laugh out loud moments!
Thanks!
You bet!
That last game would be amazing for Gotham's Guess the Elo. What a hectic and fun stream.
That first game was amazing. Great save!

Crazy games! I love watching them! I think youtr 2 behind on updating your wind counter
30:47 lmfao good one mate
You missed Rxg4+ after Qf4
Love it when you spend 4 minutes trying to calculate and then your opponent just blinders their queen lol
19:13 rook takes pawn 😮 Rxg4!!
The rating of the player matches the time 😮
I just found out who Peter patzer is last night. Wild movie
I guess I will go get some water too. Good idea. You the man. ❤😊
Nice to know people at 1900 blunder too…makes me feel better.
They blunder in 10 minute games in 15 min game they are GM
even NMs, IMs, GMs, etc blunder in their games. just rarely..
Your opponent definitely fooled you takinf the Rook instead of the Queen
"Martin never misses mate in 1" Not really, I don't know why but he never sees Fool's mate
How much water u drink a day?
Why doesn’t Gothic chess - with the 2 new pieces and 2 more pawns on a 10x10 board- catch on in the Chess world?
It’s almost like Seirawan chess. Almost
Useful viewing
Starting the video by leaving your seat and making us wait is such a powerful move. True Chad 😂
ridiculous king's gambit from black is ridiculous
I guess now I have to go learn king's gambit
I can tell you're feeling better! Hoping you and your family continue to do well. Thanks for everything as always! ♟
Still don’t know what the perks are for being a member… lol
funny game, that second one 😆
watching an empy chair is ridiculous..

You mean at 1:24:25? Because he would lose two pieces for one.

g3# had me laughing so hard!
nice actually
I’m waiting for Kristian vs Martin
Your doing nothing but tilting your opponent to make blunder in 1st game
I think you get an award for mating with your pawn. I saw Hakaru talking about it today! It’s not very common! Great job!😊
I mean it's pretty common 😅 just play bullet and it happens on accident to every 1200 lololol
Bro I am from india and when you were streaming.. in India it was 3:00am so I can't able to watch your stream
How about:
Get water
Then start video
The "chess player" way
Me too
Don't know exactly why, but you are looking 10 years younger. Hair cut maybe. Anyways. Looking sharp.
What?! You don’t drink?!?! Statistically speaking, you’re either a recovering alcoholic or a Mormon 😂. Not making fun, I don’t drink either 😊.

Well recently I decided to focus on staying alive instead of learning more theory 🤷♂️
