3:46:20 And in a stunning come from behind victory.... I once blundered my queen but for some reason played on, only to see my opponent blunder his own queen a few moves later. Those are the games we really remember.
Nelson, happy holidays. Wishing you and your family nothing but the best. I watch your videos literally every night. You took me from 400 in March to just crossing 1300 today. Going to finally crack into breaking 1500, can’t wait!
As a 600 rapid player, and a 400 bullet player, I can say that 2400s rice cooking checkmate was right up my alley, even I have learned better to cut off the king lol crazy how many there are now days!
Happy holidays to all. I have 2 genuine questions and i hope someone van answer them: 1. Why is cheating called “rice (cooking)”? 2. Whats the point of cheating anyways? You get a false high rating, but don’t win a fridge or something - so why ??
A player Nelson lost to was quite questionable. The opponents chess coach wrote to Nelson and defended the opponents honor. When there was a question during the game about a significant time lapse by the opponent, the justification provided was that the opponent was in the middle of “cooking rice.” So, while there is no proof the opponent cheated, and Nelson has asked everyone to let it go, he keeps a RICE counter now on questionable losses.
That game against aplecon is one of the weirdest you've ever played. It's insane to me that someone can get to nearly 2500 "just playing for fun". Probably has the mind to be a GM if he pursued chess as more than a hobby.
That was such an easy checkmate for that cheater to get. I am terrible at chess, I'm like a 500 elo dummy, and even I could see that mate in 3. Why is everyone trying to defend him? "Oh maybe he's just a 2300 player that happens to be really bad at super simple end games" get out of here
Hi Nelson! I'm a 1200, so pardon me if I'm not making any sense. At 50:55, you doesn't Rxe5+ followed by Re7+ winning the b7 Bishop work? Surely 2 Bishops for a Rook on an open board with a slightly better pawn structure should be winning.
At 49:48, when he asks for a tactic, how about winning two pieces for a rook? He takes the knight with check with the rook. Then when black recaptures with the pawn he forks the king and bishop with the other rook, winning the bishop. Am I missing something?
It LOOKS practically annoying to play because, the pawn behind the knight will be hanging of you move knight and black rook active… and our rook is stuck to defend the knight after Nxb4.
Yeah not only does honey steal the affiliate links for creators they also deliberately give the users less than maximum discounts, because the merchant gets to tell honey what discount level they should "find" even if it's way less than the maximum available
Happy holidays from New Zealand ... watch all ur vids ... then i go play a game and figure out you actually live in some chess time warp where ur clock moves slower than mine and u dont get slaughtered
If you’re referring to Alexcrafter, it’s because Nelson somehow manages to pair up against him almost every single stream. So it’s gotten to the point where he’s suspicious of them stream sniping
The number of clowns that refuse to resign in shit positions never ceases to amaze me even at 2200/2400, it seems that the internet has destroyed all etiquette. Sad
The people I love are the ones who just stop making moves so you'll either get bored and resign yourself or have to suffer waiting for the crime of beating them at chess. Bunch of babies.
That last game could make a nice instructional video for "why you should never resign even in a losing position." That was crazy.
Yes, this video is already it.. or could make that last game a separate shorter vid.
@niravapurv4578 yeah I meant a separate video, he sometimes turns games like this into stand alone content. This would be a good one.

“I won’t let my kids open presents until 20 brilliant moves”
Lmao
😂😂❤
Nelson - Feliz Nochebuena! Thank you for your videos. You have enriched my life - blessings to you and your family.
3:46:59 congratulations for keeoing your position and converted a loss to a draw to a win!!! 😃
I appreciate your dad joke. It reminded me of your older videos when you'd start off with s non-chess related fact
As a 600 rapid player, and a 400 bullet player, I can say that 2400s rice cooking checkmate was right up my alley, even I have learned better to cut off the king lol crazy how many there are now days!
Yeah, my first thought seeing that endgame was, "Even _I_ could win that endgame." (before they had so much trouble).
Happy holidays to all. I have 2 genuine questions and i hope someone van answer them:
1. Why is cheating called “rice (cooking)”?
2. Whats the point of cheating anyways? You get a false high rating, but don’t win a fridge or something - so why ??
1. Nelson has a video titled "We Need To Talk About This" which explains where rice cooker comes from.
2. No idea.
A player Nelson lost to was quite questionable. The opponents chess coach wrote to Nelson and defended the opponents honor. Just an FYI, you almost made my husband choke on his cereal with that nose/foot joke 😂😂😂

Final brilliant was the last comeback!
Nelson, you crack me up.... "Alright, we got two queen traps in two games. That's something."
It sure is. 100 percent pure gold.
3:46:39 THE BEST REACTION FROM NELSON EVER LOL
1:18:30 The king fork is truly an exceptional fork.
Happy new year... how do i get a membership?

It's great watching you play smith morra now Nelson!!
That last game though 😭😭😭
Hi Nelson! I'm a 1200, so pardon me if I'm not making any sense.

Surely 2 Bishops for a Rook on an open board with a slightly better pawn structure should be winning.
Set to make 3 in a single game as an achievement.
I managed to get 2 in a game once.
At 49:48, when he asks for a tactic, how about winning two pieces for a rook? He takes the knight with check with the rook. Then when black recaptures with the pawn he forks the king and bishop with the other rook, winning the bishop. Am I missing something?
At 51:00 it was Rxe5, dxe5, Rd7+ and then you take the bishop
Dont use or encourage the honey extension. You will loose any affiliations
2:39:17 cheater in chat tries after all to justify their actions... seems like...
1f3 is the only opening move by White that gives Black an immediate slight advantage.
Merry Christmas Nelson!
You should definitely make up your own opening Nelson! Merry Christmas bud!
36:55 Why didn’t you take the pawn on b4 with the knight opening up the immediate take on knight take c6 where it seems to wreck havoc?
It LOOKS practically annoying to play because, the pawn behind the knight will be hanging of you move knight and black rook active… and our rook is stuck to defend the knight after Nxb4.
nelson this better not be clickbait like the previous 2 videos
it's christmas day now happy christmas & new year to you & your family
You missed the fork against goat hunter to win the white square bishop
Merry Christmas all

I thank winkle tinkle was laughing his hinny off brother.
I’m saw the Coffezilla vid about Honey. It’s nuts in a shady AF kind of way.
I never trust those browser extension bs ads
48:18 can you explain that joke to us Canadians?
Imperial Units: 12 inches = 1 foot. Therefore if a nose were 12 inches long, it wouldn’t be a nose anymore, it would be a foot.
Happy holidays from New Zealand ... watch all ur vids ... then i go play a game and figure out you actually live in some chess time warp where ur clock moves slower than mine and u dont get slaughtered
Good Play........
Merry Christmas
I was suspicious of winketinkle the first time. I think the wacky name is just to throw you off. :/
Why did he deny playing that dude?
If you’re referring to Alexcrafter, it’s because Nelson somehow manages to pair up against him almost every single stream. So it’s gotten to the point where he’s suspicious of them stream sniping
Nelson is #1(2345) 🙂

Guess you can

Hi

As that last game showed, you should never resign. You have to earn the victory by checkmating the opponent.
The people I love are the ones who just stop making moves so you'll either get bored and resign yourself or have to suffer waiting for the crime of beating them at chess. Bunch of babies.
