- This is my late SOTC video I made around mid-September 2023. I think a good chunk of the watches seen in this video have been sold and some new ones may have come in by the time I am posting on my channel. None the less, here it is.
I really like your collection. Those are fantastic watches!
Thanks. And, thanks for checking the video out.
It's clear you stick to your guns with what you like and value for money. Very nice, thank you for sharing.
lovely set
Nice, unique collection. Not another like it. I approve 👍🏻
Thanks
I think the watch industry hit a bom during the lockdown. lol
Very nice, very unique. Highlights for me are the Willard and Solargraph!
Thanks. I still own at least one of the two you mentioned you liked.
Nice variety.
Superb collection! Great decision to substitute the NH35 movement for that idiotic 6R thing in the Willard. Big power reserves in mechanical watches don't make much sense - my Orient Star loses silly amounts of time off wrist, especially when the reserve drops below 20 hours.
Anyway, that Casio is fantastic, and I love the Zodiac too, not to mention the Seiko with the multicoloured indices.
Wear them all in good health. Subscribed. Cheers 🍻!
Thanks. Yeah, I'm not married to any 6R.. 4R is "lower tech" but, it's a hell of a lot more consistent and reliable, IMHO.
Yes, unless COSC or really well balanced and regulated, I find most watches start to deviate off wrist.. which is weird since you'd think being in a static position it would be more stable?.. and, I I am usually far between what rotations enough where the power reserve is never going to be long enough anyways. Thus, a high PR is rarely any advantage or a perk for me.
Nice collection, although id like to see a couple of dress watches in there 😂.
Love that sinn chrono but too big for my tastes. I have that green Willard, again too big for my usual tastes but it fits smaller woth the cushion case shape.
Really like that vertex. Im obsessed with a single pusher chrono vertex that I'll have to pick up at some point. Hamilton to a really similar one for half the price which is tempting. Loving the look of the New Hamilton expedition speaking of them.
That seiko chrono is nice, but a little too similar to a zenith el primero for my ocd to handle.
My next watch is a silver dial rolex op36. God knows how long im going to be waiting for it, but in jot buying anything else until i get that one.
Almost all divers😂. But a collection of taste n personality. Not all about $$$.
I'll be honest: I probably wouldn't be into watch collecting if divers didn't exist.
Dude you need to focus on your watches man , you are all over the place , it just makes the video really long and really hard to watch.
Ok. This is not my day job unlike some others more dedicated to a higher production value. But, thanks for the productive criticism. Will work on staying more focused.
@@khronokraze that's all it was man , I wasn't trying to cut you up. Sorry if you took it like that. Happy New Year man.
@@Matthew-wn8oq it's no big deal. If I can't handle comments, I shouldn't be posting anything or leave comments open. I know I've been needing to edit most of my videos to make more straight forward.
What happened to the farer bernina?
Sold it
May I ask why? Planning on buying one. BTW love your content bud!! Some of your watches are already in my to-buy list. Love your taste
@@juancarlosmendoza4587 why I sold the Bernina? I like too many watches and I simply can't keep everything. It's with great reluctance I sold it. But, I felt it I had to, back when I did was the time since the new version in titanium just came out . No matching titanium bracelet yet. So, it seemed advantageous to sell as a set with bracelet before the "competition" might mess up my leverage on that particular market.
Thanks.
I wish I could keep more and didn't have to think long and hard to make a sacrifice. The thin silver lining is what goes out will ultimately fund and make space for something at least equal, if not better.
I'm also at a point where I'm slowly condensing my collection down to allow more wrist time for the timepieces I want to wear more often.
Not that the ones going out I don't want to wear more often.. I weigh which other ones I currently own I would prefer to have even more time with to enjoy even more.
Trying to keep less watches as bench warmers and have them in active play more often. Thus, I feel the team needs to be smaller to do this l.
Who knows? I may get through this phase and go back to owning more later. But, that's where I'm at now.
I dont mean to hate on your video, but ONE HOUR? This is not a SOTC, this is reviewing every single watch. Also, a Mic wouldnt hurt.
