@@jakehaul8751 Yes make sure you restart the machine after doing all those 4 steps. 1st step scan is a must and then next 3 steps.
It worked thank god no caps earlier like there were 1-10 virus detected but now its gone and most of my files lessen
I installed a virus to my computer by accidentally clicking an ad. I installed malware bytes and scanned, and it said my computer was okay. However, it was still running slowly. Thank you so much. Today my daughter played some games and afterward, my computer started to run slow. Apps that I used like Netflix/ Hulu wouldn't load or kept saying video wouldn't play. So I figured it was a virus. I cleaned my history browsers and still no resolve. Your video was the first one I clicked on and I followed all the steps and now it's back running. Also when I hoover of the start key I had to click left to get the RUN option. Hope that helps anyone that ran into that issue. But thanks again.

So luckily it turns out I was just getting pop ups that weren’t viruses, but this did help me, my computer is more or less clean now and I know for when it does happen

Best way to remove any virus from Win10 to get rid of Win10. Years ago I switched to MX Linux. No viruses, no pesty updates, no putting up with the none exiting repairs that Win10 offers: but best of all I own my own operating system!!!!

I don't think I had any virus on my PC, I was trying to install blue stacks, and I accidentally download it from another site, that really looked like blue stacks. and then I realized that it was a virus, because my windows threat protection warned me. but the operation failed because the windows security system quickly deleted it before I realized it. but it's still good to clean up your computer of any junk.

@@shreyjain8113 yea it does. the only thing i have is this pop up but i think that was after i did this anyway. but yea it seriously works. this is probably the only one that explains it better while doing it and not telling you to just do it. others actually make you download other stuff to get rid of it and that didn’t work at all for me so yea. give it a shot. plus it’s a built in virus cleaner. windows is really nice to have something like this anyway.
Before this tutorial, I had a little less than 2 GB of space on my c drive and could not free space no matter what I deleted now I have over 41 GB of space free thanks for the great tutorial

When I did %temp% it deleted 200 but left 7 and everytime I try and delete them it says The action can’t be completed because the file is open in Microsoft Edge (NEED HELP!)
