Sorry for your loss, Jim. I wish more people would talk frankly about these things, so much better to endure a little awkwardness and "the finger of fate" as my Grandad used to call it! That MPG is insane, what a great little car!
I recall reading, think it was the Alfa 156 launch years ago, when asked about cup holders the response was: 'Cars are for driving, Cafés are for coffee'. Currently road tripping a 2001 Bravo HGT in NZ, no cup holders, cafe stopping :)
I have my prostate checked annually, my father died as a result of prostate cancer because he chose to ignore it until to late. It is is a horrible disease if it gets into the bones, Myself. I am a bowel cancer survivor so hypersensitive to the C word. That MPG is incredible. I manage 44 mpg on a long run like that in my W221 320 CDI LWB Mercedes Benz which I guess is also not bad. I do enjoy your videos.
On a personal note Jim - my Dad is a bowel cancer survivor and my Mum died of stomach cancer. In the last decade I have had about 7 or 8 colonoscopies 3 endoscopies and a CT scan - not always a thing you would want to happen but as I say to anyone who asks if I am asked to go I go because if there is anything to find its best found early and treated - the alternative is not a great outcome.
Glad the check up went well. I know the exact petrol station you're on about on the A41 near Grindley Brook... there's always cars queuing up onto the main road it's that cheap, don't know how they do it! Incredible MPG, I was expecting 70's... but into the 80's is genuinely impressive!
86.3 MPG Imperial = 71.9 MPG U.S. = 3.27 L/100km. Very impressive!

With that kind of mileage, I need one as a commuter over here.
I have my PSA (!) tested every couple of years... Be safe guys!
I really struggle to get that mpg in my Honda Insight. Kudos!
Flippin 'eck! Reckon 100mpg might be do-able in summer?
Sorry to hear about your brother Jim. Definitely an important thing to consider.
You do look a lot younger with your beard trimmed back tho 😁😂
Over 45, how dare you! :P
I have still not reached 40 yet.
I haven't even reached 35!
