  • BRANDS TESTED: Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ryobi One+, Ingersol Rand, and Performance Tool. Battery powered grease guns tested for output rate without any resistance, with 150 PSI flow resistance, and maximum PSI. Brands also tested for pumps per minute, output per pump, noise level, ergonomics, ease of priming, and battery recharge time. Will any of the brands deliver 10,000 PSI? Will any deliver 10 ounces per minute? Let's find out! I always purchase all of the products tested. No sponsors on the Project Farm channel. It's all about unbiased testing. Hope you find this video helpful.

Milwaukee had 2 speeds, thus 2 pressures and 2 flow rates, and it's unfair to the others to take the pressure of one setting and the flow of the other speed and declare it the absolute winner. Try comparing apples to apples, at the higher pressure (around 10000 psi) the Milwaukee had less flow rate than the Ryobi.

Best thing about the milwaukee Grease Gun is that you can select between constant or 1-10 pumps per trigger pulled. Its sometimes actually pretty hard to know how much grease you have put into something with these electric greasers, especially if its in a spot where you cant see much, you end up guessing and its either not enough or you have made a massive mess and wasted grease.

To grease fittings which generally put grease into beatings and other things. If you have ever used a manual grease gun, your generally holding that nozzle by hand so is on straight, while putting the grease gun body against something, including yourself, whole you other hand is pumping the handle. In general that sucks.
It's really bad in hard to get areas to do that. The Lock on nozzle is a must have which I learned about a year ago. That allows you to lock on the zerk fitting and use 2 hands on that grease gun. But you still have to let go one hand to take off and move to another and grab the gun with both hands again. Also sometimes the little ball that seals the zerk fitting gets stuck and you can't get the grease in with a manual grease gun.
With a powered grease gun. You can hold it and operate with one hand, and use your other hand to move th nozzle from one zerk to another quickly. If you use a locking nozzle, you don't even have to hold it in place. You also end up with a lot less waste of grease that tends to squart out around the nozzle at the same time it goes into the zerk. The power guns also have more force. So with locking nozzle you can generally force grease past a zerk.
Zerk fittings allow you to put grease into things without having to take things apart to get grease inside.

Milwaukee is doing a great job lately, and, I own Dewalts. Milwaukee keeps winning. I keep wondering if I should buy in to another battery line.

All I see around the job sites is Makita, Milwaukee, and DeWalt.
The guys that buy their own tools buy the teal and red. Company tools generally yellow. Dewalt is only staying relevant because of their pricing for company accounts. When you don't get that price break you tend to buy what doesn't fail nearly as often.
