Yes there were! There was 2 hatches under the bow cushions and another insulated box under the forward facing seating in front of the center console. Pursuit is a great choice, you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to boat. I have a much newer video walkthrough of pursuits brand new 24ft center console, titled “is this the best 24ft center console”. You should definitely check that video out if you like the pursuit boats!
Wellcraft was there, i just didn't cover any of their boats. If there's a specific boat your looking to see a walkthrough of let me know! I might be able to make it happen for the next Miami Boat Show in a couple months.
In my opinion, Dusky's are great if all the extra fancy features that boats come with nowadays aren't really a priority to you. It is definitely a little more of a barebones boat, but for some people that's all they need/want. The build quality of the boat seemed good to me. I've personally seen some embarrassing build quality by some of the boat manufacturers at the boat shows but Dusky's seem like they are built well. I've never ridden in a Dusky before though so I cannot tell you if the ride is good or not. Hope this helps!
Except for Dusky, In this boat size of 22-24 I have to say Pursuit, Edgewater, Grady White, Scout and Regulator have the best fit and finish. Cobia, Robalo, Sea Hunt, Sportsman, Boston Whaler are your Chevy/GMC fit and finish boats. I don't fish off shore but fish lakes and rivers so a large fish box is not important to me as you see the Pursuit 235CC has no floor fish box. Its more of a touring boat with some fishing elements. Robalo does a excellent job of a good fishing and family fun design with the 220cc ,230CC and 242CC. Ample seating, fish boxes, rod holders and excellent access to the head. Being 6'3" at 295 lbs, I need all the access I can get into the head. Side entries really suck for me. Nice video over all.
Great way to categorize these boats! That all makes sense. I would say that Boston Whaler deserves to be in the "best fit and finish" category. I will have to take a better look at a bunch of those boat brands at the next show. Thanks for watching!
Don’t think you need to keep moving the camera around so much, we can hear you talking without turning view back to yourself. Try showing more of the boat. Thanks 👍🏻
Thank you for the feedback, I've noticed I have that habit. I will try my best to not do that again at the coming Miami boat show in the next couple weeks
Thanks for the video I have been looking for a 22-24 footer. By the way it's not a doggy door it swings one way only. Chances are it's for water evacuation if you get a big wave over the bow. By the way did you see any smaller cats?
Of course! You know what, when I was editing the video I thought the same thing, maybe this isn't a doggy door and maybe its for water to escape. Then I figured someone would correct me if I was wrong LOL. Well, maybe it can double as a doggy door as well haha. If you are looking for a cat in the 22-24ft size range, I did hop on the 235 World Cat and briefly walked around it. Seemed like a nice boat!
@@mzwak2001 very true! The prices of these boats is jaw dropping. Hopefully the user boat market prices get more realistic soon because these people are asking crazy numbers for nothing!
These three are not even close to the best single engine center consoles. Intrepid just discontinued their 245 model unfortunately, but that along with the Albury Brothers 23, Reef Runner 230, Conch 27, and Judge 24 are the best single engine center consoles. These boats don't come close
These are just the boats at the Miami Boat Show, as it says in the title. I believe the only boat you mentioned that was actually there was the reef runner.
A fisherman at heart but like to use it for both cruising and fishing Disky first Cobia second pursuit third thanks for the videos love them 🙏🏽
Gotta have the chill cruising days on the boat once in a while!
Was there under seat storage/coolers under the bow cushions of the Cobia? Pursuit would be my choice, but it is also most costly.

Fantastic. Pursuit is over priced. Rather have a Scout
Scouts are nice boats too!
Would take the Dusky without second thought. All the fancy crap on other boats will be destroyed by saltwater in less than 2 years. Good video btw
A simple man, I like it. Thanks man!!
Wellcraft not at the show?

Black Tee Top is a No Go! It draws Green head Flies!
Really? Huh, didn't know that! Where are you from that you have that problem?
@Livin Salty I'm considering the dusky, what is your opinion on the build quality and reputation of the boat?

@@LivinSalty thanks for the reply, will be moving forward acquiring one soon.

The Cobia was my favorite. Thanks for the video.
The Cobia was a beautiful boat, thanks for watching!

Yeah. Must be for letting water out of the boat.
@@monster-pq7ln Yup! I actually talked to someone from pursuit and they confirmed that it is to let water out if you take some waves over the bow
$85,000.00- yeah right !!!!
That’s way too high .
It will sit until they bring it down to about 55,000
Unfortunately I don't think the prices of new boats will be coming down for a while. But I definitely agree, it's a lot of cash
👋😉
There out of there minds if they want 136,000 for that
Pursuit makes a really good quality boat, and you definitely get what you pay for. That being said, ya it's definitely a lot of money
Dusky for me
I suggest you check out cobia 240 it falls right in between dusky and pursuit
Great suggestion! I will look out for it at the palm beach boat show at the end of the month.
Cobia
It's a great boat!
Affordable LMAO
Unfortunately, no new boats are affordable lol. But relatively speaking, some are more affordable compared to others
Here on the west coast we have Thresher boats a similar to the Dusky boat just a little cheaper
Really? Never heard of them! But I'm certainly going to look them up now, thanks for sharing!
$95,000 for a Dusky😂😂😂😂 joke!
what do you have against Dusky's? You also have to keep in mind that the boats this size go for almost double that typically.
All boat prices are a joke currently in about a year the used boat market will be flooded with barely used inventory.
@@mzwak2001 very true! The prices of these boats is jaw dropping. Hopefully the user boat market prices get more realistic soon because these people are asking crazy numbers for nothing!
Lmao. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the price! Plus he says affordable for “everyone”. I’m definitely not everyone. Lol
