IMHO, more boat builders need to have available models like that Dusky in a bare bones layout configuration for people that really just want a solid fishing platform.
Really appreciate your passion and desire to help poor slobs like me, see more boating options, who can’t even look at those $500,000 center consoles. How is your new Eastward? I need to catch up. Thanks brother
John, I was thinking about upgrading my toggle switches to push button, but you say you prefer the toggles. Why is that and greetings from Gio Western Long Island Sound.
I just can't and would never pay anything close to what they want for a new boat. 1st off, they don't make barely any walk around boats anymore unless it's a pilot house. And boats these days just aren't made how they used to be. It's too easy to find a solid cheap ($5000) hull and repower it. The older GW Sailfish 25 are ridiculous and not too hard to find. Slap a new pair of 200s on it and you have a new boat for under 50k
Stingrays are really meant for the buyer that doesnt understand the difference in high end to lower end quality builds. They see that it looks shiny and new and bust out the check book. 5-6 years down the road the stingray is going to look rough with a lot of repairs. I rather buy a 4-5 year used Cobia in the same class and getter a better ride with better resale
Really like that stingray. Had a lot of features I like and I think we’ll go under many of the bridges I have to get under.
Ubiquitous! Thanks for the shout out John! That Stingray is sweet.
See your back in Florida... Enjoy your channel...🇱🇷😎👍
Stingray - wow

The Stingray was the best one - ❤🇺🇸❤🇺🇸

She’s almost ready

I think toggles are just easier to see in daylight and know when they are on. It's just my opinion and quirks
@@jiggingjerks I have decided not to replace my toggle switches.
I finally went this year. Made me feel so poor seeing these prices. I’m going with a reef runner 230…eventually lol
That Dusky 😍
Stingray

Boats are way too expensive. Maybe less demand post covid will eventually bring it down.
Good video John! Those rigs are still way overpriced IMO. I would rather spend 30K to 50K on a good older used boat. Hope that all is well.

Cocktail boats,
Calling the Yamaha a fishing boat is a bit of a stretch.
