basically, what you're saying is that to play generals you have to download and install their crappy app and get the non-physical version of the game. and for those like me who have the physical version of the game with the cd's? it's this version that real gamers want, not the virtual one.

Try again I hope it is available soon in France. There is new Steam version of C&C Ultimate Collection however the genpatcher or gentool might not work. Maybe wait as well on that. All the best.
Playing CnC in window mode means mouse pointer no longer moves screen, the taskbar takes up the bottom of the screen even with auto hide on and the mouse click detection is buggier than a the set of Ants.
If I have the original Zero Hour with physical CD's it requires me to have the CD in to play but I can't really permanently put a CD drive into my PC, any fixes?
Question. After installing gentools, the GameRanger starts the Generals ZH but does not join the specific game automatically. I have to do it manually. Why is that and how can I fix it?
I tried everything but it stil doens't work. I have high end gaming pc. But when i boot up the game I can choose between "Generals" or "Generals Zero Hour". Why does generals work but Generals zero gives the serious error... Every video I watch i can see guys boot up Generals Zero Hour instantely but I always get the pop menu to choose between Generals or generals zero hour game. What else can I do?

Does this work for singleplayer? Can you play with 60fps or even 120fps without major gamebreaking bugs or altered game speed? Minor bugs wouldnt bother me. Just wanna relive the greatness of the campaigns... :)

There is no "insert" key on my laptop. However there is a delete key which also has very small "insert" label below it but when I press it gentool didn't show up. Any solution?

Does no one use the online lobbies to create matches anymore? I remember that when Gamespy shut down a community patch was used to redirect the multiplayer to a community server, and that's where I last played games like 5 years ago.

I did everything according to your guide and unfortunately when I turn on full screen the game runs at 30-35 frames and freezes. Everything looks fine while running in a window mode. What is it about ? Specs: i5-12500h 32gb ddr4 rtx4050 windows 11 The best thing is that graphics settings have no effect on how this game runs in full screen. It's always bad.
@@DoMiNaToR3 GenTool 8.8 - It doesn't matter whether I'm running skirmish or online play, because from the moment I start the game it simply doesn't work well in full screen. Even the menu works slowly.

I've gone through all the instructions however when the start up happens and loads to the main menu it crashes with the window of technical difficulties popping up.

If you haven't yet, please switch off your virus scanner and try again. The following fixes have failed: -Onedrive fix Warning Code: W087" I've tried to disable it, but as soon as I click apply fixes it turns on. But thanks for everything and for helping me out I appreciate it.

Probably the pirated one has changed game files, does it have crack? Plus anything else changed by your brother?

Maybe you need to hold shift or alt at the same time as pressing?

Dont play using skirmish. Only play in network mode

The Ultimate bundle is on sale for $7.99, and from there you can choose which games that you want to install from the collection.
