Only started playing this a few days ago and now I know how to make my dump me of a field look better thanks, I had no idea what I was doing before haha.
I love this feature, the only thing i can think of that would greatly improve it is a dynamic minimap/pda that is automatically updated once the terrain is changed.
if you guys have fs19 on steam right click it go to properties then on the top go to betas then change the beta which is usually says none to patch 1.2.0_beta-Patch_1.2.0_PC and wait for it download which took me a minute. thne launch the game get in your savegame and press p the store and go all the way to the right where the shovel is and have fun :)

Your ability to be a little "slap dash" (as I would call it lol) improves your farm design. I have a bit if OCD and have to make everything perfect, everything dead square to the next and so on... but it looks awful when I do it because it is TOO perfect... looks more like an architects design than a farm. I spend literally a whole day designing my farm then desired I didn't like it 🤣🤣 great vid as always Dag 👍
I hope that this will be available for console soon as this will make the game a lot more enjoyable. Please Giant software please do this for us. And Keep up the good work.

What field numbers are the two and how do you smooth the Hill's. Also when I use that tool and make my map into a MP map either people fall through map or can't join my game any ideal also on PC as well.
If you start from scratch you probably will play as real as possible, and landscaping costs money in real life so it makes sense for me that it costs money
Some placeable trees or fenches or walls will make it look amazing. When you take the time, and cheat a bit of money extra, its a nice thing to do. Great vid!
Awesome that we can do this, but I hope its cheap to make changes because it seems a bit rough that we have to use money for this. I think we should be able to make some changes then start our "career". Any changes made after you officially start you have to pay for but initially it should be "free".
It will be in the next patch for PC and console. Currently it's in beta but should be out in the next week so I'd say wait rather than get the beta if you're on PC.
As Claus Jensen sad: undo button would be good. Also, is there a way to restore the grass? I mean that grass that's growing on the map by default. Last but not least, drawable fence. I mean you drag from point a to b a line for the fence and some little help to connect it.

The in game system for placeables always has been very basic and even tough they did improve it this time It usually causes some janky terrain defformation. I'm no modder or adept in anyway with the Giants editor, so this is a big deal for me. Building my farm and yard however and wherever I want is something I've liked to be able to do for a long time. word of advice for people building their yards, plough the entire area with grass first, and let it grow.. as atm, the grass paint doesn't let the fauna grow, but seeded grass does.

Stuff like this must be in game from launch if your game upgraid is Farm building.
You should be able to plant actually grass through it and place bushes and trees

no it's meant to be for all platforms but don't hold me to that i could be wrong.
It's PC and console, hence the user interface design they chose that doesn't require a mouse.

How did you rotate the building by 90 degrees ? I can only rotate them freely, Not snapping to the 90 degree angles. Like you did at @5:40 ?
