Hey Daggerwin, just for your information, there was an increase of around 700 pounds when you fixed and sold the baler, so it has been fixed. Love the videos. Look forward to them every day. 😊
Yeah, painting is also profitable. In fact, you can make a good chunk of money by just buying things in the sale, repairing, repainting, and reselling.
By repairing the baler before you sold it you did make a little profit by repairing the baler the sale price before repair was 27,044 the price to repair was 7,118 which would be 34,162 you sold it for 34,875 so you made a bit of extra money. Repainting does the same it isn't as much as fs22 but it is still free money.
That is how they plant pine trees in North Carolina, where I am from. They plant pines in grids, perfectly spaced. The reason they do it is to make it easier to harvest/rake the pine straw. Northern areas pay big money for pine straw bales to use as mulch around plants and trees. I once transplanted a maple tree when it was the size of a pencil and about a foot tall. It is huge today. I don't still own the property where I planted it, unfortunately. They kept the Leyland cypress I planted too. P.S. You could name that field North Carolina Field with those evenly spaced trees, lol.
"if i repaint it i know i'll just be throwing money down the drain" that was a bug PRE patch 1.3, it was fixed IN patch 1.3, and repainting adds a little over what it costs to repaint to the total value, so it's always profit, in fact, by not repainting, you're throwing money down the drain
It really is infuriating how sure he is of stuff he's completely bloody wrong about. Basic maths shows the difference in the two numbers, and you clearly see it being right. And yet instantly No, no that's not right.
One thing you could try, if you would like to, is raking the middle of your field first then do the outside last. It is nice because you dont have to worry about hitting your outside round and then you can "clean up" the ends where you've turned back and it leaves a very clean field. I'm not saying you're doing it wrong, I love your series and how you do it. Just thought you might like that idea, its what we do on our farm and I really like it. Thanks for the video :)
If you buy a full size sawmill, plant oaks next to and around it. They take two years to mature. 15k per tree. Just fell them and pop them whole into the sawmill
You can get the stumps with a grinder. I found it does take a bit but I had to drive around it and hit it in several places and it finally went. You wil see chips fly and a piece disappear time to time
You're gonna need a lot more wood than what you planted. In my game I planted 160 oak wich are about 20-25K wood each, gone through about 1/4 of them + clearing a lot of forrest and still not finished the temple. (over halfway there tho I think) Those pine I believe is about 5K each if I'm not mistaken.
by the cows you should have a silage bunker as well as at the bio gas plant, much more effective using those for making silage than making bales... you also get much more silage by threshing some corn with the krone thresher... fields by cow farm and bio-gas plant i usually use.. for Tree Planting I use the "new holland" tractor with front loader of the second tier with 160hp, or as a forestry tractor.. i also use 2 orange Steyr tractors for field & forestry work groups. those red Steyr front loader tractors are perfect for potato planter making the tight turns and not leaving any un-sown tidbits when planting.. it's the only tractor that does the full field 100% if using workers.. I cut my fields with right angles and plant grass to fill in the gaps so i can also harvest the grass... after a while I just get a couple really long fields for doing grass.. and potato/beet..
I planted oak as they grow the fastest and give a ton of wood (4 times more than the lodgepole pine which is the best of the straight trees). I got a forwarder in a sale and have built a sawmill close to my trees so I just drag them to the sawmill. No need to chop them up or load them up. Next game year I will plant more so I have a crop of trees every year to chop down.
Or just grow oak which take 2 years and give 4 times as much wood as a lodgepole and you can just drag them to the sawmill if you build it near the trees. Growing pines is just not worth it unless you are dead set on using the harvester because you want to for the fun of it.
Merry Christmas - I love this series, (and the chainsaw survival mode one) and that you are putting out this content. Don't know why, but it's very addictive. I am kinda bummed out by the paywall though, and yeah I know that just have to wait an extra day, but sometimes the episodes are members only, other days they arent't... A bit of whine, but it's coming from a good place... ;-)
They don't die from beeing too close, I planted mine a lot closer than that and they're doing fine, just a pain to pull them apart after cutting them lol.
There was a really good mod for 19, not sure if it was in 22, think so, but it was a krone swadro 6 i think it was called, it was stupidly wide, it was 6 of the round things, like tue one you bought is 4
In FS 22 pine tree takes 5 years to fully grow and dont give that much wood, it seems on FS 25 its the same thing, choose the other option it only takes 2 years to fully grow and gives more wood.
I am sorry to say, you chose the wrong trees. Scotch pine takes an eternity to grow and only 3-4K wood. I have finished the Temple, and I promise you don't wanna see trees the next year. The temple takes about 40 K trees to planks and beams every day/month, for a loooong time. Pine won't do, not the slightest. The trick is Oak trees close to your sawmill, drag them with the winch. Debranching not necessary. Only 2 years to fully grown, and 21K of wood in each tree.
I hope when you finally finish building that shed you use it more than you use your partner with how much it's costing. Hownstupid of giants to make it like that. I simple 2ndoor shed cost God knows how much when it wouldn't cost nowhere near that if ubjust place it
I was thinking you should plant more trees near the debris crusher since it’s a small area. The comment switched to the survival challenge video by accident, so I’ve commented the same thing twice, sorry.
He was going to sell it but it’s only worth like $1000 so he decided to just keep it. Unfortunately it has just been sitting in that spot for the last 20 episodes lol.

@Daggerwin i think the stuttering graphics is a Epicgames issue or Windows update issue, i got on my FS 22 game and i was having the same issue as you, so i just log out from the game and did not boot it up since then
Daggerwin that was a treat watching you plant trees this time. It was a neat video when you did post the tree transplant video months back. Maybe more??
@Daggerwin - when I go to your channel and look at the playlist for this series, there is no episode 70 & 71. What happened to them? TH-cam has never shown them on my page for watching.
Trees do not grow on Hutan Pantai, I planted 200 and they all vanished without ever being ready to harvest. I planted 10 new ones on a side of a plot and they still are there, so maybe they did fix the glitch of disappearing trees. But too soon to say they did. Its only 3 months after planting.
@@phforNZ yeah good point. I remember leasing the Volvo with the planter attachment and expensive saplings just to drive it back to my farm at a painfully slow 6mph T^T
Hey there, i noticed how you always complain about space on your farm but i've watched since the 1st episode and i never understood why you are keeping the small red house just beside the main house it would be a good place for a shed or something butyou just keep the decoration house there, plus the small barn as well not very usefull you used to have the yellow rice machine stored in there replacing that for something new like a metal roof thingymabob would be more useful.
On tonight's episode of Farming Simulator, I keep green peace happy by planting some trees. we do some baling and I put my forklift skills to the test
Hehhe ur here every episode

Careful driver huh the hundreds of signs sticking out of the front car says otherwise lol.
Lodgepole is the ideal to plant, is the quickest to grown and is harvestable by machine. 40 Months

You can use the lumberjack mod to get rid of the large trunks
You can make your money back when selling things once you paint and repair the implement.
Keep up the good work may god be with you
you can actually put a solar shed for equipment's which can produce some money as well buy selling electricity
If you buy a full size sawmill, plant oaks next to and around it. They take two years to mature. 15k per tree. Just fell them and pop them whole into the sawmill

Great video I'm loving this Hutan Pantai series. Chucking Bales everywhere is given when the gas is down hard 🤣🤣 haha Steady as she goes
Just fyi Scotch Pines take 10 years to grow and are only about half as effective for the sawmill as the Lodgepole Pines which only take 3y 4m to grow.

He didn't know ok lol
merry Christmas dagger
move ur mini saw mill and just put a long car park in like you had in fs22
Make a shed for your grass cutting tools ans have it by the stone crushers ans use those two fields for hay ans silage
I find it hard to believe you drive in real life at all.
Use the lumberjack mod for those stumps and chainsaw them away
They fixed the big treestumps, it can still be a bit of a hassle but you should be able to get rid of it
Might want to check the volume of bales. I think the largest round bale actually holds more liters than the largest square bale.
Cut that big stump again with the chainsaw. Then the stump grinder will take it off. But I think it is fixed in 1.4
That was a £700 profit for repairing the bailer, 7,100 repair, 27,000 originally, sold for 34,800 boom
if you plunge your chainsaw into the stump, like you're clearing a limb, the biggest stump will disappear. Just hold it there for at least 3 seconds.
The forestry near me is planted much denser, in real life you would just chop from the edges and work inwards
