Everything looking like space shuttle,or Concorde have my support 😅❤ love it 😃
Thanks for the update
Never heard of but that looks cool! Is that for the Roc to drop in the future?
X-Wings and Tie Fighters here we come!!
There will never be space fighters. Star wars got that fundamentally wrong. Space warfare will be almost identical to modern naval warfare with frigates, destroyers, and Battleships, not air combat with fighters bombers and strike aircraft
I want a Y- Wing
Vipers and Raptors then
geez.. such a small thrust cone.. 🤔
What is it pissing?
rocket pee
LFG!!!
quick way to dry the floor
How is this a "spaceplane"?
This is what it says on the website in the description: The Mk-II Aurora is a rocket-powered aircraft designed to be the first vehicle ever to fly to 100 km altitude, the edge of space, twice in a single day. Its rapid reusability and low cost make it ideally suited for a variety of applications, including microgravity research, high-speed flight research, earth observation, and defense and civil uses."
So it reaches 100km and thus space I guess, seems interesting
Because it takes up space, haw haw
It seems the designers of this drone don't understand the concept of base drag. The nozzle is too close to the large flat rear of the fuselage. I guess they'll learn about it during flight tests. Too bad, it will really slow the vehicle down--and its development.
The combustion doesn't look stable. Might need to add baffles in the combustion chamber.
They’re using the name Aurora because that name refers to some unconfirmed or fictional reports of a hypersonic plane like the one in Top Gun Maverick. Shame on them for stealing the name.
Aurora as a name is pretty damn generic, saying they're ripping off an 80s hoax or Top Gun of all things (The plane wasn't even called Aurora in it, it was Darkstar) because of that is as stupid as looking at a SpaceX Raptor and saying they're ripping off the F-22. Different things can share the same name.
