If we just add a light & chain (rod, rope), it's gonna be a great piece of chandelier.

Very cool shape indeed! Aside from printing a small version of it using a 3D printer, I'm sure it'd be something that would melt a structural engineer's brain trying to figure out how to build those shapes at appreciable sizes IRL. They'd definitely be amazing structures though!

If you do this with a square and tilt it up 90, you get a very nice square tube ... a box with no top or bottom. Hmm ....

Could that be a Stargate? It looks very familiar, and the way it expands and contracts…. Drat! My monitor isn't big enough, could someone with a really big monitor see if you can get it to open? And leave a note if you go through it!

Very nice work, but I am unable to get the same result ( for now). At 2:15 you start dragging it up into 3D, but I get a spiral in 2D.

I do not know for sure, but I would guess you are not rotating on the green axis.

    • @phucmaixuan3242

At 2:17 the penny dropped. I clicked with the rotate tool on the green axis, but the rotate tool itself was blue instead of green.

select face of circle, click rotate, hover over green axis hit and hold left button and drag it through red dotted line across the circle and then move up and click again to make another angle reference, and it will move on the Z axis. it took me a lot as well and found your question, hope this solves someone who is learning!!
