As far as bands that sing in English go, Battle Beast is my favourite but I'm a sucker for power metal as it is.

"Nordic" is a good word which includes also Finland. Geographically Finland is part of Fennoscandia. Historically it is also part of Scandinavia. Many Finns also say that Finland belongs to Scandinavia, so ... how would you expect a foreigner know?

Second listening of this new single. Glad to hear Noora gets to go metal screams and intense high notes in this song. This one really relies to her vocals, there's much more imaginative Battle Beast songs instrumentally, but I wouldn't call this boring. It sounds metal disco and very dancable, would fit in their previous album well: I'm now expecting they follow previous album style.
Battle Beast is one of my absolute favourite bands, and Noora is an absolute vocal BEAST, and no it's not rude cause it's true, she can do almost anything when it comes to vocals!
Love me some power metal every now and then, this was a lot of fun 😁

I recently bought all 6 of Battle Beast's albums, and honestly, their most current album, 2021's "Circus of Doom" is the only one that is most consistent with truly great Rockers. All the other albums had several Pop Rocky Ballads, that you might even hear on a Madonna album. No joke. And all their songs are pretty short to begin with, with most of them under the 4 minute mark. Same goes for their sister band, Beast in Black, which was started by Battle Beast's original guitarist , Anton Kabanen.
Now yous need to react to the new Pentakill album, the vocalist from Battle Beast features in a few songs
New Papa roach track Dying to Believe is out!! One of the best songs they ever written!!

Im not 100% certain and im too lazy to look it up but I believe the current guitarist for Beast In Black came from Battle Beast, hence why the music and themes are so similar.

Anton is a good songwriter, but I do like these newer songs as well...and Anton lovers have Beast in Black. I enjoy both.
Battle Beast's latest album has better rankings than any earlier ones. There's always someone missing Anton. Why not, that happens when someone leaves a band. But the band is happier without him because now they all can participate creation of their music.
