I have a 185s and my chain goes on it fine it moves forward and backwards only for a little bit then ends up falling off either going forward or reverse how can I realign the rear sprocket to the front engine sprocket
just got a three wheeler and had to tighten the chain well my chain tensioner snapped as my chain would not tighten enough, should i get a new chain or take a few links off or do u think it might’ve happened because it’s older, thank you
@@jmmotorsunlimited3094just ordered a new chain and tensioner, tensioner came in first and i put it on but it didn’t change the tightness of the chain when installing it and i was able to tighten it all the way, when the original tensioner broke would u know if the axle could have moved and affected this? my axle is still in about where it should be just the bottom 2 17mm bolts make it seem like my axle is slid all the way back
Mine had the cover when I bought it but I took it off. All it does is catch mud and make it hard to clean your chain so I would take it off ,but don't throw it away because they are getting hard to find

You’re a fucking life saver I almost bought a whole new chain and sprocket set thinking you couldn’t tighten the chain on old machines like these
Thanks! Quick, direct, and to-the-point. Helped immensely!
Thanks dude!! I had no idea it was that simple, literally like riding an entirely different bike. Again thanks bud. 👍

If your chain is that loose I would suggest getting a new chain and tensioner and possibly replacing the sprockets

would you recommend running it without the chain cover? ive been thinking about taking mine off

I still have my chain cover on.

@@jmmotorsunlimited3094 oh, ok, I wish ya luck and stuff with the hurricane hope yall good
What if it just snaps off when you tighten it
@@zanebear7511 you’ll probably have to pull the whole axel housing off and try to get it out

What if my stud is out of threads?
