Fantastic video Keith! I have dummy batteries in my cameras well. I also LOVE THE power junkies that you recommended to me as well! Those are so great and universal!

Im lazy with the editing and production 😂 I've been asked about camera power and wanted to help 🤷🏾‍♂ and yep those power junkies still come in handy

Dude...never hit me to plug my dummy batteries into a smart plug. Did that for a bit when I used the ATEM Mini but dang never even hit me about the camera. Thanks for the tip. Super cool set-up and look too!

+Kevin Kolbe thx bro yeah I’m a lil lazy 🤣 and since they’re hard on/off the smart plugs work awesome and with Siri and Alexa

Great video very helpful. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but been using a dummy battery in my zve10 (which is my main streaming camera), and if I don't connect the usb with the dummy somehow the stream starts getting an intermittment black screen! (Deborah Bell)

What's up Keith! I just got the Sigma 18-50 lens that you mentioned to go with my Sony ZVE-10. That lens is 🔥. I use dummy batteries. Which smart plugs are you using?

I use the KASA mini's but I think Alexa has some that work directly with it, not certain tho...

Hi, thanks for your video. I'm attempting to automate my studio as well. I use a Sony ZV-1 camera for my youtube studio, and while I can shut it off with a smart plug when I use a dummy battery, it doesn't start automatically when I turn it on, thus I have to turn it on manually. Is there a way to solve this issue?, I appreciate your support.

+Twins Tech Tamil தமிழ் so not sure about the ZV-1 but the zve10 does it. If it’s not a hard On/Off it won’t work
