All I see is wires and lights. Everywhere. Overhead, snaking around on the ground, on railings, under platforms. Wires and wires everywhere. And those weird flashing yellow lights. Eeek!

I noticed that the train master must signal the motorman that the signal is green. The motorman then acknowledges that he seen the train master OK to proceed. I was looking to see if the train master told the motorman where to stop. He did signal him to proceeded on the green light.
Definitely one of the fastest metro systems in the world. (130kmh) It does seem slower due to the fact that the camera is zoomed in because it is way behind the driver room.
I think this is a training run, hence the two cab crew. However, Japanese train operators are always required to point before doing anything. It is supposed to make them more conscious of their actions.
all locomotive Drivers/Conductors/Engineers within the western world should behave like this...they should always be in pairs with either one of them pointing out anything and everything that may have a bearing on the railway/train in general. It keeps the operating of the railway in the forefront of their mind all the time whereas with single manned positions there is the very real tendency for the drivers mind to 'wander'. *An excellent way to run a railway!*
