I missed the true winters in Germany when I was stationed there while serving in the US Army. It so beautiful to see but not too much fun to drive in there.
I thought this was excellent. Great editing. Great mix of you-the scenery. My only "thing" would be -- did you LIKE the castle? Did it live up to your expectations? Exceed? etc. Some perspective.... But very well done!
Thank you so much Tim! The Castle was impressive. I couldn't film inside, but it was a nice historical lesson. It wasn't as impressive as the palace grounds in Potsdam for example, but still worth it. If you end up going, there is another castle inside that you can also go to. Overall I can recommend it.
which month and which specific date did you go? amazing place and of course amazing video. i am thinking of visiting the castle but during snow. is it possible to get inside the castle or walk around it?
During winter time the bridge (Marienbrücke) from where you have a very nice view is closed for safety reasons. Thus you won’t be able to walk around all the paths that you can explore during summer time. You can get inside the castle also during winter time.
trainsirf There were more than 70 air raids on Munich during WW2, circa 90% of the buildings in the Old Town got severely damaged. As a result most of the „old“ buildings that you see nowadays were rebuilt/repaired after WW2.

Whole Germany was flat after WW2.
Look at Dresden. An amazing City totally rebuild.
Munich is OK but not that beautyful.
Realistic Clear mind I have yet to visit Dresden, but heard good things. Will visit later in the Fall.
Germany was flat after ww11?
