- Hey there! First of all, thank you guys so much for getting me over 10k subscribers! I love making these videos and am so glad you're enjoying them! Thank you to those who have been there since the beginning and welcome everyone who just discovered this channel! :)
Today I’m showing you guys how to make these super adorable mini typewriters. You can paint them any color you like and best of all, the whole project is made using ordinary supplies you can find easy including popsicle sticks and toothpicks. They’re so fun and you can show them off as a pendant or keychain.

My fingers are soooo sore right now! I just spend a whole day (almost) making this typewriter. It didn't turn out as cute as yours, but it was still worth the effort... okey, who am I kidding, I had so much fun making this that I wouldn't regret it even if the typewriter would fall apart. Thank you for the video it's awesome!

Awesome Job! I was wondering can you make a miniture couple? a miniture piano? or a miniture couple both sitting on a miniture piano seat with a miniture piano (the guy plays piano, while the girlfriend sits next to him and puts her head on his shoulder). Just an idea for valenties month!!! You dont have to do it. :) They are just suggestions.

Those little ones remind me of a Royal Quiet Deluxe lineup I saw one time. They were painted just about every color of the rainbow. I had a Robin's Egg one made in '58 (it was one of the last of that model--it had a keystone shape top opener versus the chrome button opener used on the earlier ones). I do miss it, and wish I hadn't sold it.

As I live and breathe. I might have to try this myself one day. You know, they do remind me of the Royal Quiet DeLuxe series portable typewriters. It still does my heart good that there are people who take time to build a representation of a long-held hobby that I have had for 37 years.

I love this! You could use it to leave daily love notes or something.
I have a little folded paper typewriter like this that is the stand for a calendar. I think that would totally work for this too - just print a bunch of pages for each month. So cute!

Haha I have to admit I never used/owned a real one but they seem so wonderful! I love writing short stories and I bet using a typewriter would be soooo satisfying...all the clicking and clacking :D
ha! Yes, they do seem wonderful, but they are very tiresome to use. Try having to write an entire book with a typewriter with no autocorrect, no page margin setting option, no spell check - if you are perfect and make a mistake at the very last part of the page you had to rip it out and start over with fresh paper. They lend an air of romance to writing, but I am super happy they invented computers and then decided to make them afforable for the masses. I'm a writer, too! I write short stories, plays, novels, poetry, and film scripts. Haven't gotten anything published or produced - yet, but watch this space. It will happen!

This is the first time the "Creator on the Rise" listing wasn't an annoyance for me. Great channel! My wife and I have an interest in the making of miniaturized replica objects. Can't wait to show this channel to her later today, even though her preferred medium is polymer clay. She could find a lot of great advice from your videos regardless and just substitute with baked clay panels and rods instead of popsicle sticks and toothpicks. Keep up the amazing work and hope it pays off for you here on youtube!

You'd also have to miniaturize about 2,000-2,500 moving parts. And you'd also have to get these parts to moving along with many other parts. Just take a look into a portable typewriter to see the precision involved. You would have to miniaturize that without all the necessary tools. I couldn't even dream of it. I'd have a heart attack.
