La Center has gotten so big. I remember when the town was so small. My dad would go drink at the tavern and I would go fishing down at the river. It's a nice place to bring family up. Thank you so much for these videos.
Sadie and Josie's Bakery right up the hill from the first round about is amazing! I also hope to try the local Gorilla Burgers here soon, I hear there awesome! I wonder if the city has ever thought about some kind of indoor/outdoor gun and archery business with skeet and trap shooting in that area knowing its such an outdoorsy small town?
where did you parents live before they built their log home? your hometown is beautiful rural Washington. We live in Whatcom co. Here's to Washington staying small town and nature! 🌲
Let me be the first to say "Welcome to the area!" They do hit La Center Rd with the plows and de-icer, it really depends on how much snow we get. If it's really heavy, it can be hard for the plow drivers to keep up. If it gets too bad, they will shut the road down, but it doesn't happen often. And if you don't want to risk it, there's an easy way around the hill, just take Timmens Rd up into Ridgefield and then to the Ridgefield junction from there. It's backroads, but traffic is usually slower and you avoid the big hill. Thanks for watching and if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to reach out.
Thanks. We're excited and scared. We've lived in Seattle proper and the Seattle suburbs so tiny La Center is going to be a massive change. We've been priced out of King County though, so we're heading south.
It's a really nice little town. It's reasonably close to Vancouver & Portland so it's not overly inconvenient if you need to get your fix of city life.
I'm making my way through your videos. I'm encouraged because all of your Vancouver cons are worse where we live, so it's an overall improvement moving to La Center/Vancouver. Lol

Both my parents grew up in Vancouver, back when Vancouver was much smaller than it is today. Thanks for watching the channel!
Moving there soon. Does the main road off I5 not get plowed or diced.
