This is gorgeous. I knew as soon as I saw the Instagram post for this bag that I had to hop over and watch the longer tutorial. Whenever you create anything it’s always so inspiring to me, but this project makes me want to sew RIGHT NOW. So cool! ❤
Thank you for the tutorial!! I made one of the bags yesterday and it was definitely beginner friendly and a quick sew. Niiice. Just waiting for my frame to deliver to finish the bag.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
Lovely tutorial, thank you for the long form video. I appreciate it, i know it is a lot of work! Did you print this fabric yourself with the shapes? Very lovely.
Gorgeous ❤❤❤ I want to make one bag like this one, I hope I can find such a frame in European shops :) thank you so much for the cristal clear tutorial ! ( I am the Belgian girl with whom you swapped an olive linen dress of you remember 😊)
Yes I definitely remember you, I wear it all the time and love it. If you have trouble finding the frame email me and I can source it here and send it to you. I hope your sheep are still doing great 🧡
Can you please tell me - did you applique those blue shapes to the main fabric or were they printed on the fabric? I really love how you back stitched around them
Thank you!!! Amazing tutorial and gorgeous bag!!! Would you recommend a top stitched leather or canvas web for handles as an option? I’d love to make a purse! 🥰
Measure the frame like I show you in the video - that will give you the width. You can keep the same height or make it shorter. Make a prototype first and adjust accordingly to be shorter or taller.
Thank you. Very detailed instructons. I really appreciate the long video. Beautiful bag.
🙏🏼
I am going to make some of these beautiful bags as gifts. Awesome!❤

Backstitch design is a killer move! I cannot describe how much I loved it ❤
Agree!
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations

You can either hand sew or use rivets
@@bookhoudesign thank you!!! I’m so excited!!! Big hugs!!!😘
How would you calculate making the bag smaller ? Would it just be trial/error?
I love this bag. And your video instructions are perfect! I want this bag. Where do you source your fabric?
The fabric is my own screen print 😊
@@bookhoudesign it’s beautiful! Thanks for your response.
I love this bag and would like to make one using the 8 1/2" frame. How do I adapt the fabric sizing please? TIA!!!
Measure the frame like I show you in the video - that will give you the width. You can keep the same height or make it shorter. Make a prototype first and adjust accordingly to be shorter or taller.
@@bookhoudesign would have helped if I had watched the video to learn this important part. Thanks!! just waiting now for the frame.
Great tutorial. How would you add a strap to use as a purse.
You can add when you sew the waxed canvas to the front of the bag or rivet it on at the end 😊
