Ketu Dasha Expectations and Information + How to Prepare (Especially for Ketu Mahadasha)

- Hi Everyone,
In this video I go over some general information of what Ketu is trying to teach you at the end of its Dasha. I refer mostly here to Mahadasha, but the same logic can be used to antardasha and pratyantar dashas as well.
I covered what might happen and how to prevent it, but I forgot to mention how you will feel. You could feel the intensity of being forced to detach if you are spiritual, however I would enjoy it and try to learn from it as much as possible rather than run away as no period most likely will bring spiritual wisdom like ketu. Also you dont have a choice, if ketu wants you to learn something, you will get so much thrown at you until you detach and then ketu may take it easy on you (dependent on your placements of course, I am just speaking generally). Most likely if you are not spiritual, ketu will throw all kinds of things at you to elevate spiritually, it could or could not work. If it does great you are aware of why everything is happening and hope you learn from all of it and detach to end the suffering as much as possible, if it doesnt then it may not be the most fun period of your life because it will throw stuff at you to get you to detach or do things to try to make you feel detach but you insist staying attached which will cause suffering(to what extent has to be seen on an individual basis).

Some things can go away, permanently or temporarily. I would try to learn as much as possible from the remainder of this period, and make sure you are detached from everything that causes you suffering, you will enjoy your Venus Dasha much more.

@@amietkamble1357 we'll have to wait and watch. But as far as my observations go, not everybody goes thru the dasha sandhi that people talk about. In fact no untoward incident occurred during my Dasha change from Mercury to Ketu. So let's see.
My ketu MD ends next year on Xmas Day. Currently in Saturn Antar dasha. My ketu is in 4th house Leo in Magha nakshatra with Sun and Mars in Leo in D1. In D9 my ketu is with Sun in 12th house Aries. I had a near death experience whilst delivering my daughter in Rahu antar dasha. After that I am completely detached to everything in my life. Everything is temporary in this life. We are just journeying through. Clothes, Car, house, money, bank balance, relationships dont mean anything, what matters is how clean the soul and the mind are. I was an atheist in the beginning og ketu MD and now I am very spiritual listening and chanting bhajans, it gives me so much peace. I am not yet ready for Shukra MD but i feel like i'll have to play my part in this life whilst remaining detached to materalism. I'll forever be grateful to ketu. Also, he has blessed me with wealth that i used to take my family to travel the world all the time, and gain experiences from different cultures.

No 7. Running ketu antardasha jupitor mahadasha. Ketu 3rd house , venus in mula 9th house conjuct with rahu mars mercury aspected by jupitor leo 3rd house. Left and lost the things I was chasing for for around 6,8 years. Now searching for a new path. Peaceful and detached. Finding solace in research and learning and non materialistic goals.

I have learnt a lot from your videos. They are very refreshing. I just have one request, if you could make more videos at an antardasha level and how the results vary with respect to the dasha, that would be super helpful. I understand and appreciate a lot on what you are teaching us here, but its a lot easier to understand when you can see it in your own life. Dashas are too large a period to really see these changes for ourselves. For instance, how would ketu antardasha behave with venus dasha vs sun dasha. Just a quick note : I ran my venus dasha-ketu antardasha, with ketu in taurus and venus in aries. Just at the beginning of this, I was scammed and lost all my savings. But towards the end, I actually earned 10x more than I lost.

@@heeralproductions So basically I got an internship, which paid me a lot. But I remember right at the beginning of ketu antardasha, I lost literally every penny except may be 20 dollars.
Something very similar happened to my relationships as well. Detachment from the current relationship, and then towards the end, I ended up in pretty good relationship. So really you are very right about the retrograde planets and how they start off with major crisis and often ends up pretty well

Also the retro planets its not necessarily like that, but if you have a spiritually elevated mindset that will happen most likely cause your able to absorb the lesson quicker

From past several years, i am confined to my room. Although i have drawn myself towards spirituality, ayuveda, fitness, health, self-help books, financial knowlege but i am really dissapointed at the situations brought by Ketu MD.
I just want to enjoy life to the fullest as if there is no tomorrow as you might see from my venus placement. But life has till now given lemons only.
Speaking from a very general sense from the minimal information I have, it makes sense why you had your officer job with Mars in its own sign of Aries in 10th house, and Mars is also 5th lord for you so it is very strong here. However with Ketu there, it also makes sense why you lost it during it Mahadasha period.
You say you are “disappointed” and just want to “live life to the fullest” (your own words). Maybe ketu was trying to “disappoint” you on purpose, for what reasons you are going to have to go and discover yourself. Some possible explanations are past life karma, humbling your ego, detachment from your reputation.
Its great you have become involved in more spiritual things which is good. However you say you still want to live life to the fullest. I would question you to determine what that exactly means for you, and also more importantly why. Theres are people that could live life to the fullest perfectly fine in your situation.
Now obviously naturally, despite after all I said, something tells me you are still worried about when you get your job back. Ketu feeds off of that worry and detachment by the way, but I will tell you whatever I intuitively feel from this minimal information. You said you started ketu dasha 3.5 years ago, that means you should right in the middle of your Rahu Antardasha. That tells me your Mars antardasha did not give you your job back, despite its strong placement, which makes sense because they are conjunct and Ketu is influencing Mars more because it is antardasha lord. Right now you are probably lost, I would use your Jupiter Antardasha coming up very wisely. Jupiter is your 9th and 6th lord. It can assist a little bit if you let it. Check its placement. 6th house has to do with daily career, and 9th house has to do with learning and things like that. Check your ketu and Jupiter also in D9 and D10. D9 shows more the results the planets will give in general and D10 will show the impact you can say those planets will cause you to have (which is important for career, while D1 kind of shows what is happening. Theres more to the divisional but his is what im feeing for you right now based off this minimal information. You seem like your advancing spiritually, definitely you will make good use of this information and these placements once you do the internal work necessary that ketu requires.

Sir, things have been haywire in past few years. I have lost most friends and also romantic relation.
My father retired 1 year ago and we are living on his pension. I get rejected in exams however hard I study. The exams for which i left my Job are not getting cleared whatever I do.
We have no family vehicle from 1 year even earlier my Dad had govt vehicle with driver( See the irony).
In a way Sir, I just have my parents left by God's grace and nothing else.
Things have been really difficult lately . Life has been just reduced to eating, sleeping and preventing myself from depression.

Yes those things can happen definitely in Ketu due to what it is trying to teach you. Just know you are not alone, most go through periods where they are down for a long time and all seems hopeful. Remember what ketu is trying to teach you though, would not recommend fighting it. In my last response above, did you understand what I was trying to explain with the Jupiter and Saturn concepts? That is mostly likely the closest thing to a solution I have right now based on the minimal info I know of.

First IMMEDIATELY i notice in D7 chart your ketu is in virgo with a debilitated venus and in D9 your ketu is in Aries with a debilitated saturn. Both are in second house of those respective charts. Your marriage or any relations especially with family will go through some challenges and possibly suffer. Its good you are getting into this spiritual and religious mindset. You will definitely need it.
Your ketu is in lagna, and it closely aspects (within 5 degrees) your jupiter and saturn (both are retrograde and closely conjunct also and they sit in 9th house). Because of this, your interest in these religious information and spiritual development will only continue to grow exponentially throughout the next 7 years. Just be prepared to detach from worldly things and expectations. Understand you are going to leave it all behind one day anyways.
Your Mahadasha is starting within the next week, and Shivratri also happens to be during this time. Would recommend doing a complete dry fast that day. Also chant om namah sivaya 1008 that day. This energy will help you gather the strength to break through the material illusion so ketu doesnt cause to much suffering. Remember suffering occurs at an internal level, happiness is a state of mind not dependent on the external at all. This mantra and fasting that day will help, but you need to actually put in effort to use this energy to continue to adjust your lifestyle throughout the dasha. If you dont ketu will just remove it one day with minimal warning (if you are aware enough to sense some subtle warning from ketu, would strongly advise listening to that warning, it is not something to be taken lightly). Your choice. Would recommend also getting involved with some genuine spiritual community of your choice, preferably one you can interact with in person weekly.

What do each planet represent in each house? According to Pandit Sanjay Rath, having Ketu in the 5th house in Navamsa is a blessing? Do yogas work in D9? Do we need the D9 for marriage transit or D1 is enough? Apparently the houses in the Navamsa, are not the same as D1.
From what I have witnessed, many viewers are interested in the D9 but for some reason, not a lot of Astrologers talk about it on YT and if they do, it’s only a couple of videos. To be called one of the most important charts, I have yet to see a channel that speaks a lot about the Navamsa. You don’t have to. It’s only a suggestion. Thanks.
Very good suggestion, I think I shall make more D9 videos. What you say makes sense. The reason why many don’t is because the D1 shows everything that is happening physically (to a large extent), and for 90%+ of the astrology community thats all they care about. The D9 chart has to do with the results both inner and outer, not what is happening.
Also here’s the thing i look at aspects and conjunctions yogas and all that the same way in D9 as in D1. However INTUITION is VERY VERY important when reading divisional charts, especially as you go more down. Your intuition will just naturally tell you what areas of the chart to focus on and things of that nature. Not sure if thats an answer most want to hear, but astrology is a spiritual science, it only speaks to those who are spiritual in nature. I would strongly encourage one to develop intuition over memorizing and analyzing different techniques and stuff. Theres a reason why theres so many different astrology systems but none work 100% for the masses, but a system can work almost 100% for one person. It is because of the huge x factor so many overlook which is intuition and connection to consciousness. That is the secret or the golden ticket to understanding all of this, anybody that tells you anything else may be misleading you. The reason why you don’t see astrologers make videos on divisional charts as much, is because “techniques” and fundamentals have a higher chance of failing, and more intuition is needed, which many unfortunately often dont have. Hopefully this made sense.
Will be making more D9 or divisional chart videos soon. Will start with D9 however as it is looked at very similarly to D1 and because you asked and it is also so popular and important. The D1 and D9 say different things though. D1 more what is happening, D9(or any divisional chart) show what is the result. I personally for D9, use similar house in D9(and other divisional charts) as in D1, but you have to see what works for you intuitively. 100 people can tell you 100 different things and they could, emphasis on “could” 😂 doesn’t mean it will, all work depending on how their intuition is interpreting everything. 100 people could follow 1 system strictly and that could fails because there is no intuition or spiritual element involved (which is crucial). Learn what you should, but develop intuition also so you can decide how to interpret it yourself, and let your high consciousness guide you and continue to grow your knowledge when analyzing this subject.

Hi, are you aware your venus (taurus sign lord) is retrograde? It is going backwards in leo, towards sun (who is going forward and is leo sign lord so very strong). So the venus is going retrograde back towards sun in suns own sun, that is playing an affect here.
Also your mars and ketu are in 11th house in lagna chart, but 10th in bhava chart. They will also cause a certain effect. Just some things I noticed from just a quick glance I think you should be aware of.

How is Ketu Venus Period as a Virgo ascendant?
For this general question, your ketu is affecting your venus. So all things venus related, will be under ketu rule. Usually a little bit of an adjustment especially for materially minded person. Because you are virgo lagna, you have libra in 2 and taurus in 9. So venus will give more of those effects as well as its natural effects. So ketu will also be influencing those as well. But overall expect relationships(particularly with people) and other material experiences you are particularly attached to have some influence from ketu. So this mean you will most likely be learning something about all this, and possibly be forcing to detach or fulfill some kind of karma in this area. This is all very general advice however just am fyi as this is a very general question.
What about the antardasha? it is starting soon and mine will only last 4 months.

I took a look. Your Saturn is in 10th house in both D9 and D10, and exalted in D9 and Mooltrikona in D10. Definitely chances of getting job. Your at the end of ketu. Which means two things, ketu is using the humbleness of saturn and intelligence mercury to prepare you best for venus, and also to use them to teach ketus final lessons. I looked at your mercury placement too. In D1, your mercury and saturn are both retrograde which is important. Im not sure what your career aspirations are, but saturn is in a pretty good placement in those two divisional charts. Definitely something can come. But you asked if suffering will end. Saturn also naturally signifies suffering (because most likely are not willing to humble themselves). We also have to look at what saturn means when its in mooltrikona and exalted. If your able to somehow work with others, or do some kind of work to serve someone, you will realize the spiritual lessons and see the karma Saturn is trying to show you.
Mercury is your 10th house and lagna lord in D1. It sits in 12th house retrograde . Also saturn is in 7th retrograde conjunct ketu. Most likely whatever “career goals” you do have, most likely detach from them. Those false ego ambitions are not going to serve you well, jupiter throwing a 9th aspect on mercury from its own mooltrikona will help you realize this.
If you are able to focus on the things saturn and mercury are tying to show you (under ketu), your venus will be better. You have venus as your 2 and 9 lord in 11. Pretty good, but it is conjunct mars which rules 3 and 8. Also venus is in 5th house d10 but with rahu debilitated. In D9 it is in 12th house in Sagittarius conjunct Mercury . If you learn the lessons here at end of ketu, you’ll be able to connect with the good energies of your venus and know how to deal with negative energies better, which will make life overall better. If not, most likely you will manifest things related to the negative aspects and will suffer. This is the beauty of ketu, it is trying to shake you out of the habit of connecting with the negative energies. Hope that made sense. Also your venus (contrary to popular belief) will most likely still throw some “spiritual tests” at you from time to time. So just keep that in mind. But you will know how to deal with them from ketu, and they will most likely not be quite as intense all the time.

hi your venus which starts end of june 2023 will still have some health issues. But you'll be able to adapt and not suffer as much externally.

In general a few months after your venus starts, all the suffering from ketu will stop and pain will leave 👍

There are different theories on destiny vs free will. Not sure about heaven specifically, but in my opinion i very strongly believe all important relationships the soul has decided before taking birth. This includes marriages and other previous important relationships, but also parents siblings children and other other important family and friends. A lot of important life events are predetermined as well. Connect to the higher consciousness (inner spiritual internet as me and my guru call it), see what information resonates with you the best based on your path. I have personally found the more I advance myself spiritually, the more things in my life I have realized were already predestined long ago.

Yeah these things are normal at end of ketu dont worry. Could be much worse. Venus will be fine as long as you dont try to go looking for more when you get something decent, in any aspect of life.

I would not be scared, nothing “super bad” may happen and if it does its often for the better genuinely. I have multiple people out of my family and friends going through ketu mahadasha and nothing insanely bad has happened yet, at least not so far haha.
I would challenge you to think about the deeper reason of why your scared. What are you scared to loose or what are you scared is going to change? If your scared most likely your holding onto to something, and ketu doesnt like that 😂. Once you detach from everything genuinely ketu cannot hurt you only help you.

No idea this is too little information, most likely higher chances are that your Venus Mahadasha will bring marriage versus ending of Ketu Mahadasha when speaking in a general sense. Technically though you “can” get married in next 5 months, whether it actually will happen or not is upto all the different features of your chart

So you also have to check your Mercurys position, but yes Venus in 8th in own mooltrikona CAN definitely give marriage. Most likely it’ll happen pretty suddenly also because of 8th house placement. Whole chart has to be analyzed though for specific details

Hi Nice you to take interest in this subject at 15, very rare and probably must be the ketu dasha you are running. First thing off the bat I notice, in D9 and D60, you have every single planet in a conventional spiritual house (5,8,9,12) or the ascendant axis (1,7) with only one exception. That is awesome. Also in these two charts you have ketu jupiter conjunct in the ascendant. Absolutely fantastic for spiritual pursuit.
In the lagna you have Jupiter in the 1st house, BUT it is just behind the ascendant degree which means it truely could be at the end of your 12 house (its so close the tinniest of change to your birthtime could put in in 1st house in bhava chart), but either way super strong placement for spirituality. Also you ketu its in 12 in lagna, and most likely 11th in bhava chart also good placement for spirituality.
Your venus (next dasha period), is in 9th house in lagna 8th in bhava (both awesome for spirituality), and joined ketu and Jupiter in ascendant of D9 and, it is on the same axis of Jupiter and Ketu in D60 so they all aspect each other. All great for continued spiritual pursuit during Venus mahadasha. Not sure how your journey has been so far, but it can definitely be constantly improving if you use the energies wisely 👍. You could be able to tap into intuition and energies very easily that others would not be able to do.

Yes your last sentence was spot on. I also have acne (as you can probably see in my videos 😂) and it was much worse when I was younger. Theres a million reasons why someones chart could show acne haha but once thing is ketu is trying to get you to detach from your physical body as well. How it does this it can do it in many different ways even when you are young like yourself. You have acne, some people are very overweight, every can have their different issues during ketu mahadasha. The one thing to keep in mind is that your acne could not actually be that bad (or any other problem ketu throws at you may not be that bad), but ketu will make you feel very detached towards that area of life. For example you get some breakouts, and ketu will force you to acknowledge that physical beauty is very superficial and not spiritually important. Most people dont want to be forced to think that way, and therefore they suffer. Its good your at least seeing the beauty in the choas. Your young so you know your life is not completely ruined because it has just started haha and your natural spiritual nature helps and that wisdom ketu has provided will carry over with you through the rest of your life.
Overall as far as making a decent living, it will definitely come with its ups and downs but you’ll make it through. Dont worry and you will learn along the way. I am looking at the placements of your planets in D1 D9 D10 and other charts, definitely some ups but definitely also some downs (for money and career). Just enjoy the ride as you have been. And after Ketu is over, its energies will definitely die down giving you a little break, because theres certain things ketu does that none other can (regardless of placements).

There is no way I can 100% accurately recommend marriage or not from this minimal information but I can try to explain what I see/sense and let you decide. I am going to trust that your higher consciousness decided to tell me that information specifically for a reason.
First thing that pops out if your Mars is in Libra, Mars isnt a huge fan of Libra as it is opposite of its own Mooltrikona sign. Also Mars is sitting with Rahu, and had Ketu in its own mooltrikona. Mars also aspects Ketu and Ketu throws a slight aspect on Mars. Your Mars is in your 7th house (i am making a very big assumption it is in 7th in bhava chart also). Thats the first thing.
Second thing is your Venus, venus naturally controls relations and it owns your 7th so it makes it even more important for you in areas of relationships or marriage. Venus has 2 malefics rahu and mars sitting in its Mooltrikona, and is sitting with sun who is strong in its own sign of Leo. Your ketu also aspects your Venus(which is 5th house of past life intuition).
From this minimal information, I would say overall in general, your 7th house of libra feels a little frustrated with Mars and Rahu there, you MAY have expectations that wont be met (nobody ever ends up with anyone that is perfect) or you may chase someone based off a false conception you have of them or pursue someone out of reach or someone that is not feasible, or anything along these lines, to get exact details about this look at D-7 and D9. Your 7th lord combust sun in 5th is suns own house receiving ketus aspect. This COULD mean that fullfillment will come with others (as it is the 7th in 5th) only after you work very hard to understand them (due to being combust sun, who is the 5th lord, in the suns house all while receiving Ketu aspect). Now the good news is, if we understand what Ketu is trying to teach us, we can make proper decisions of how to live our lives during its mahadasha. Ketu here has a DIRECT influence on your 7th lord and your 7th house it seems. There is also alot of malefic energy surrounding both (not a bad thing, i dont believe in “good” and “bad” but something that needs to be acknowledged so we can be aware and adjust appropriately). I would ask yourself why you want to get married. Sit down and really identify if its for more materialistic reasons or more spiritual reasons. Some possible materialistic reasons can be physical pleasure, emotional connection and anything that fuels energies of the ego, such as money or validation that your partner (or other people knowing you have a partner) will give you. Some spiritual reasons to get married are to use your marriage bond to understand that we are all the same at a spiritual level, we are not better or worse than anybody else despite how our ego tries to convince us, all identifications and labels are useless such as how rich you are or anything like this (marriage can bring awareness to all of these things, but modern people dont like this so this is why they think of marriage as “hard”). I would suggest adjusting your marriage to more of a spiritual mindset. If you dont ketu will most likely make your suffer, and even in your Venus dasha, it has so much malefic impact you still may suffer if you have the wrong mindset in your marriage. I dont think I need anymore information from your chart. No matter how great your marriage can be, you will never be happy (despite how happy some people may appear) unless your have a spiritual mindset to your marriage. I gave you my general astrology advice, please use that in combination to the advice I gave you about adjusting your mindset and you will notice your relations will improve the most. As far as the gentlemen you speaking to, I have no idea if he is “meant to be”. Just remember you have rahu in the 7th house with mars in the sign of libra. And based on your venus and ketu, you could feel as a decent amount of people you come across you are “meant to be with” even though you may not be as interested as in this situation. The fact that he had money is probably rahu, you could run across someone is very good looking or something like that but it also may not work out, or it is not what you expect (if you are looking at marriage from a material mindset instead a spiritual one, the malefics are mostly trying to teach us lessons once we learn they usually calm down). Whoever you are meant to be with, you will be with them dont worry. No wonder I have Rahu Venus in 7th along with other planets. A packed 7th , 7th lord aspected by Ketu. I tend to come across people who initially seem like meabt to be but in sometime a voice inside me tends to detach. I guess its the Rahu Ketu pull. The Ketu detachment is like no wasting time and cut sharp and the only thing I feel is I knew something was wrong. The reason that off feeling starts is because I always seek to be only with someone my soul is meant for. A packed 7th house and my Venus exalted in navamsa. I dont like materialistic selfish people or anyone that doesnt respect my soul. This is always the most painful aspect for me. But its always this axis. There are many times I wish God not to send any more person in my life. I m sick and tired now. Its just an illusion.

But again out of so many people in the world, i have met you. You have a reason for me. People come and teach u. Maybe Rahu in 7th just feels it very strongly and intensely. And that ketu cut comes with the same intensity. When Ketu acts, its like waking up. It is so easy to be illusioned. Mentally attached. I have Saturn in 5th, so, its like no no romance for u. Lol.
