Yes well just think, humans have been intervening with nature for years, which is why their environment & habitat is being lost & so many animals are endangered & almost extinct due to poaching, land loss etc; so for ppl to say not to intervene & help a lion cub is totally hypocritical. Ppl should use that same thinking when it comes to all of nature & the environment. If the world was untouched by humans just think of what better world it would be for all.

Humans have been INTERVENING for years now, which is why so many are endangered; habitat loss due to overpopulation, farming/ deforestation, hunting/ poaching, pollution, climate change & soooo much more is all because of US humans… yet an animal cub, one little life, needs help & we turn the other way & say “nope. We can’t intervene.” You know what I say to that?? 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼
The mentality of people saying do not intervene animal in the NATURE is hypocrite...they need to survive why don't help since they are there intervening, disturbing, entering into wild and watching them.... even giving a drum of water or a treat of meat just to survive since vehicle can enter the wild??? Don't intervene but you people keep visiting and disturbed animals by your noisy cars and your presence in there places can disturbed their living...you are there to film for what???? to earn dollars by filming 💰💰💰💰💰 .. people let their land territories into limit that's the reason why they are limited for living to survive....thousands of vloggers and documentary channel is in there filming animals in the wild is part of intervening and disturbing animals in the wild.
Thank you Jesus 😂😂🤗....when I heard the sound of the hyenas and spotty still calling out, I was so scared for him. Thank God he survived the night and I love that his family recognized him

Tara_p_Rods you mean colonizers because African natives have lived along they ani!also for centuries it was not until the Europeans colonizers religious evil human beings that step foot in Africa and could not leave these animals , people, and land alone. They are the ones who are the founders of not learning how to keep they hands to themselves. They are the violent ones. They ate the ones who stole Africa wild life to create zoos for black human beings and animals. So they can have greed. Because I have yet to have scene poor people able to visit the zoo for free.
The humans knows the cub is thirsty and dehydrate they should rescue them and give water to drimk to refuel spotty's body. Its just a common sense...

Videos like this are hard to watch. Because of the narration, you become attached to the animals featured. So its heartbreaking when you know that its highly likely he will be killed. I wish that they would intervene sometimes and reunite cubs when they get lost.
I understand that you have to allow nature to take its course,and interference is unnatural, but sometimes nature needs a helping hand.
Nature doesn't need help in this situation. Hopefully the cub survives but many lions die before the age of 1.

I thought the video would comment on how the dad (or uncle, who knows it doensg really matter to lions which is the dad since they don’t know) actually did get closer, I wonder if he got the teen male to back of or if the dad was a danger if he didn’t know Spotty. It was cut in way that I can’t tell.

I've always hated this stupid rule of "you're not supposed to intervene, let nature do its part". Like get outta here. We've already doomed this entire planet. So many species nowadays face extinction because of us and now you're telling me we aren't supposed to help in what little ways we can? No, I don't understand this logic.
Don't watch it and upset yourself then.
Consider how many lions, cubs, and other animals that Spotty will kill in his life. He becomes an adult male, he takes over a pride, kills a handful of cubs - will you still be angry "why didn't they intervene?" then? What about how many male lions will get into battles to the death - should they intervene then? ( that's not a question meant to be answered; the answer is obviously no, there is nothing you can do to stop two or more lions from fighting )
The people recording have their hearts broken and attached too. It isn't as black and white as you're making it out to be.
Being human and present isn't the cure all.

You know that if a human touches the cub then it leaves an smell on them and if the cubs mother or pride detect that smell then they abandon the cub. So, it's important not to intervene first learn how things work then give your expert opinion. Simply saying anything without any research is what ignorant people do like you dumba$$
I agree considering if people felt that way we would still be dying from the black plague! There would be no healthcare, no health professionals, no science!
