- As the rains approach, Spotty, one of the MK cubs faces his greatest danger yet. Separated from his mother and siblings, he’s alone and hungry, and it’s up to his pride to try and help him, but are they too late? An emotional Sam follows the vulnerable cub day and night over four days, and struggles to detach her feelings when there are so many threats to the young cub.

I agree. That rule is bullshit, why can't they give spotty a bit of meat, it's not like they have to go as far as cook it, just give him enough to keep him alive.
We rescue dogs and cats every single day but when it comes to help wild animals some of these people just love to turn a blind eye.

Honestly these lion documentaries are way more exciting, trilling and nerve racking than anything on Netflix. Good god I hope Spotty finds his mum.

If they interven they'll be interfering with the way of Nature. Spotty is facing a challenge of his life. I hope he finally reunites with his mother and siblings. If he makes it past childhood he is likely to be a great leader in his prime. Let's hope for the best🙏🏾

Spotty's mother hears the calls and they comeback and find Spotty and he's looking good. Unfortunately the matriarch, Surabi, is gone missing. These were the last images with her, calling and leaving in search of Spotty's mother. Trully a great leader! Let's hope that she's safe with the pride and the wound has healed well!
The crew had to leave the park because it closes when the rainy season comes, and there dosen't seem to be a continuation to the series (could not find one)...
The mini-series was filmed in 2018 and it only has 6 episodes. The only person who most likely has updates on what's going on out there is Nathan Pilcher, because he's a native of Zambia and he has filmed in that area for over 15 years.

In the narration for Misfit the lion, they said 9 out of 10 lions don't make it into adulthood.
Thus, instead of watching these videos, I pause and go directly to the comment section to find out so I can sigh with relief or get disappointed. My tender heart won't be able to watch heartbreaking videos.
