Hey guys! The objective of this video was to make the pedal stiffer and try to get a load cell type feel as plenty of people prefer or even need their pedal like that. For the people who prefer the pedal less stiff follow this link for the video for you :) th-cam.com/video/IZ5XkQueB_E/w-d-xo.html
You’ve got it all backwards man, flip flops are for your feet and the pedals are for sim racing, not the other way around. Honest mistake though, I’ve tried walking with G29’s before and it just didn’t work out.
Love your Mod videos Mpowr, they make it so easy for someone non-techie like myself... really appreciate the breakdown of tools, screws and sizes needed - saves me all the figuring out 😁 Good game footage too 👌
I would save that 1 dollar euro too :-P I use those high density packing foam that comes with heavier item packaging. Collect a few pieces from here and there as each piece will varies in density/firmness. Then you can tune all you want/need. Great video and thumbs up.
This is the best video I have seen so far on this mod! So informative and easy to follow along with! I actually have a cheap pair of flip flops lying around somewhere so I will definitely be trying this mod with my pedals thanks so much 🥰
I dont know if anyone else has this problem but when playing on xbox in some games even when adjusting settings i cannot possibly reach 100% brake pressure, anything i could do to help this issue?
I had this issue, I removed the rubber block and cut it in half, this allowed me to reach 100% but I guess sacrificed the load feel of the brake. I'm going to try adding this flip flop mod to see if I can get a nice middle ground

I couldnt imagine anyone needing it stiffer since its all ready incredibly hard to push stock. but sure.

Very clear and very well edited video. Just what I needed Thanks 👍👍

Any news on that accelerator pedal mod?
Very clever hack!! Really enjoyed this video
Is it the same process for the throttle mod? I like the brakes as is out of the box on my g923 but the throttle is to limp
I did it. It feels fantastic
Thank you for posting this. About to do this too.
Did you do it with the rubber block still in play?
Do you think this could work with the accelerator as well? Brake is great but the accelerator is not stiff enough
for that, just swap the clutch and gas springs, it will feel nice.
@@YourDailyR I did that and it feels way better! Thank you!
What about using rubberized foam from safety play mats?
My guess is, you may still have this cutting transition from spring to rubber. To make it less tangible grind higher end of the rubber to a cone.
Please can you make a video where you show us how to install a hand break on the g29/g920 ??
Will this work with the gas pedal as well

@@MrEuan616did you do it? how is it if u did?
thanks. but could also do it from upper side. A lot less screws to remove.
isn't cork better? because flip flops tends to compress themselves when you wear them, i suppose is no difference when you press them
Cork will start to crumble with usage and time, not sure if you want cork crumbs inside the device
@@ricardomaciel2955 at least fake cork, do u know?
@@christian62817 I didn't even tried, got my truebrake just a few days ago
Saw other videos using a eraser (used with your pencils from preschool) if you don't have a spare flip flop
you sound like dean kerny lol good video tho
tankyu
could you send one of these out for mev
Thank you
Why would anyone want it stiffer ? Makes no sense at all
more control while trail breaking
