"I'm Still Here" was written by Stephen Sondheim for the musical, "Follies". The lyrics were tweaked for Barbra for this concert, as Sondheim did for her on "Send In The Clowns"for her "Broadway" album...Sondheim was in the audience for this concert, and can be seen early on in the first song you played from this Concert, "As If We Never Said Goodbye" which was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber for "Sunset Boulevard."

Barbra has always said she is filled with contradictions--that she's driven and lazy, confident but filled with doubts, etc. Here I think she's scared but also at ease. Perhaps she was feeling some euphoria from finally checking "stage fright" off her "Fears To Conquer List".
