    Your projects are all very beautiful. The colors you have chosen for the baby blanket are very pretty together. I love both shawls as well. You are so talented!

    Amy, thank you for sharing your makes with us this week. I love the colours of dishcloths, so you. I have decided I want to make a Time in A Bottle Shawl. I just love the way yours came out.

      Thank you, Leslie! The Time in a Bottle Shawl is so enjoyable to make. I hope you love it! ❣

    Always enjoy spending time with you, Amy! I adore your crochet shawl. I've been pondering a crochet shawl for a while now.
    Also, the color of your Felix cardigan brings out your eyes! It's grey but it seems to have cool undertones, I think it's beautiful 😊

    Thanks for another great podcast. I would probably give up on the crochet pattern as well. That Vet picks wall of the Andy's yard is too beautiful. I also love their heathered colors. Happy knitting

      I love that yarn too! At least I’ll be able to rip it out easily if I’m not happy with the cardigan this time. ☺

    Hi Amy. Well I’ll have to try to be brilliant another time. 😂 But it looks like your Felix cardigan is working out well. I love all of your blankets and shawls too and of course all of your projects.

      Thank you, Michelle! Your idea was brilliant...I just didn’t want to redo all those short rows. 😊

    Hi Amy , that’s so interesting regarding the Felix cardigan. It’s a cardigan I’ve always intended to knit as I bought the pattern last year. I am fairly petite and would certainly need to shorten it. I think the yarn looks good too. Lovely blankets as always😊

      Hi Ann! That’s the beauty of making our own garments to suit our preferences. ☺ Thank you so much!

    Your finished shawl is beautiful and what a lovely gift it will be for someone. I am. always inspired by your choices in both patterns and yarn. I'm wondering if crochet sweaters are bigger, in general from knitted sweaters, hence the ruffling? I've not crochet a sweater before so I really don't know. But I agree it shouldn't be ruffling. Your Felix is definitely looking like a better fit so I'm happy it's bringing you joy again, Have a great couple of weeks.

      Thank you so much! I’ve crocheted garments before, but haven’t ever had this problem. I’m going to contact the designer, I think.

    I really admire how you find just the right project to use the yarn you have in your stash! The prayer shawl is so lovely and that granny square baby afghan will be a wonderful gift.

    I would email or message Heidi May and ask her. Her necklines generally (both knit and crochet) are larger.

    I think it's because you went down a hook size on the neck .the rib tension will tighten up so stick to the same hook try it and see.good luck.

    • @noblecharactercrafts
      @noblecharactercrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      I could try that, but the pattern calls for you to start with a smaller hook size for the ribbing. Maybe it’s worth a shot though. Thank you! 💗

    I'm so glad you adjusted your Felix Cardi.I think it looks so much better and will look tailored rather than oversize. It is a blessing as knitters & crocheters to be able to custom fit to our liking!

    • @noblecharactercrafts
      @noblecharactercrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely! I’m so glad that it worked out for me to adjust it! 😊

  • @knittingnurd
    @knittingnurd ปีที่แล้ว

    I agree with Judith Trigg about the crocheted cardigan. I also think it's due to you going down in crochet hook size for the ribbing, causing it to pull in the rest of the neckline.

    • @noblecharactercrafts
      @noblecharactercrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, the pattern calls for you to start with a smaller hook for the ribbing, so I’m not sure. Thank you so much for your input though...I’ll give that some thought. 💕

    You might want to contact the designer, and ask her for advise on your crochet cardigan. She’s a reputable designer, therefore I am sure she will be more than happy to walk you through your questions regarding your issues. Best of luck ❤

    Regarding the crochet cardigan-I had a very similar situation. I was making a similar construction pattern and ran into the same problem. I tried continuing to see if it would rectify itself but unfortunately didn’t. I think it might just have to do with the nature of the construction? Anyway, in the end I gave up on it…maybe you can continue a little further and see if yours changes for the better…wishing you luck…I know how frustrating it can be 😅

    It looks like there are too many increases that is causing the ruffle. Why not try blocking it now and see if it flattens.the yarn colour is beautiful. Don’t give up. X

    Oh Amy I absolutely love what you have done with the zz twist yarn 🥰❤️ I would have never thought to make projects like that so I’m so happy you were able to use them and make beautiful items. I meant to comment about them in your last video but forgot lol😂 As always I love how creative you are with your yarn and projects, so inspiring!!

    Regarding the sage or green colored cardigan, I feel you should keep going. As you gain length you also gain width due to the shoulders being the widest part of this cardigan and the ruffling will work itself out. Have you tried contacting the designer for their thoughts? Is it by any chance on Ravelry where people comment on their projects? How about a review on the web of this pattern? Just some thoughts...
