Just throwing this out there. But... Rivers Edge Cutlery + Minnesota ...would be a awesome! To my knowledge there isn’t a knife centric store anywhere in the Twin Cities metro area. Feels like a market that would be perfect for that type of brick and mortar retail store concept 👌

This was an awesome episode! Orlando needs a knife shop, bad (Oceans Edge Cutlery?) and I guess we can confirm that spinal whack runs in the family after hearing about batoning with the Freeman. I'm Dubchichi (chee chee), it's a nickname with a long story involving Volkswagens and my last name. I appreciate you answering my questions, I actually ended up buying a Shaman, I couldn't pass up the opportunity on a Z-Wear. It was actually that choice between the Smock and Shaman that lead me to ask about fakes. I've seen fake Smocks floating around and I basically ruled out the standard variant completely because there's no telling the authenticity on the secondary market. With the supply chain issues the way they are, it seems like that's the easiest way to find some of those constantly out of stock blades these days. I ran in to the homage/fake/counterfeit issue a lot when I was deep in the watch world, where it's beyond pervasive and also driven by exclusivity. Appreciate you guys taking the time to put this together, always great to get your insights!
