Hey everyone, be sure to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more hard-to-find interviews from your favorite rock artists.
Part two of this fascinating interview with Pete where he goes in depth on the album which would ultimately become TOMMY about a year later. This is essential stuff for fans of the sixties' WHO.
Thank you Jason for releasing these Pete interviews.
Little did Pete know at the time of this interview he'd be a Rock and Roll icon who helped shape the direction of Rock and Roll. Little did he know he would end up being a musical genius inducted in the Rock and Roll hall fame. Little did he know he would be a legend
"The day you just open your mind to music you're halfway to opening your mind to life."
Holy moly, him talking about the Monterey Pop festival and playing the Fillmore, talking about the audiences at the Fillmore, and the sound system.....this is giving me chills. A great articulation of smashing the instruments. And as early as February 1968, he's talking about a half-finished rock opera, fascinating. Wow. FANTASTIC INTERVIEW. THANKS, JASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Thanks for this. I never get tired of this guy.
Wonderful. thanks
PS: Here's a real Who question: WHO is the interviewer?! Who who? Who who? :D
