Thanks for taking the time to show the video, this is a great plow. Don't worry about the welding comments there's tons of positive things in this video, and you put a lot of time and thought. Well done! I learned a few tricks and will use this idea when i build mine.

How did you curve the metal for the plow, I saw in the first video how the tube was bent, but what about the actual blade? And how thick is the blade, 10g, 12g 18g?

    • @BogdanCristian

The actual blade of the plow is about 2 mm thick (=14 gauge =~0.781 inch) and it was curved the same way as the square tubing frame was in Part 1

oh man those welds are really cold. They won't have any penetration, and will most likely break really soon.

    • @BogdanCristian

It's an angle grinder cut-off stand.

Although you made a product that works. You need slow down on your welding and weave more.Your welds will break eventually from the pressure of plowing snow.

I'm still learning how to improve my welding, thanks for the advice!

chucke2009 here on youtube has some good videos on mig trouble shooting and getting started, need to turn both the wire speed and volts up and slow down, a perfect weld is right on the edge of burn through/undercut but without crossing that line

Petr Gajoš I've just started to learn how to weld, so this isn't my best work, but it's holding up very good

I suggest getting automatic welding mask, least then you actually hit in the area where you are trying to get the weld. Other thing is to angle every joint so bead fills the void and grinding it smooth, wont remove that whole weld. My first welds broke like nothing, before i understood what makes a weld to tick. In high tress application i doubt this will last long due sub par welds. Then again benefit of metal work is that you can always attach and remove metal.
