I used it on the Erlang fight because it is more forgiving than having immobilized against him. Was definitely the reason why it made the fight a lot easier because i can grind down his shield without using much gourd.
@kouvue9830 Definitely ought to reconsider using Rings of Fire. Meanwhile, I was relying on partial damage reduction via the boshan censer curios, laurel bead soaks, the Qing-Tin Gourd, and lots of prayer to beat Erlang Shen on my last fight. :p Simply put, I WANTED to empty my gourd.
Once you get into NG+4 and up bosses even regular enemies hit pretty fuckin hard, ring of fire can save ur ass 9/10 times, plus combined with erlangs spear and good spacing you can get unlimited varied thrusts effectively stunlocking a lot of enemies, or pillar stance in cloudstep buff up while building focus and slam it lol just don’t be like me and try to use it in water-_-
@Bleedthefreak I believe you, because I am feeling it right now. While still manageable, I definitely see I can't afford to make so many mistakes as before.
@ yeah dude I started trying to get the hang of using evanescence cuz it looks cool but it’s so damn hard to time properly, outside of that I find immobilize to be kinda meh since it breaks easier the more damage you do, so I either roll ring of fire or balls to the walls with spellbinder poison
i always thought hoarfrost was the worst transformation due to the limited area of the snow created by its special attack, but knowing that it increase depending on your focus points make me reconsider
This definitely is G.O.T.Y. so much depth everytime i learn something new im already on my almost finish my 5th playthrough playing immediately after i finish trying out what i learn from this wonderful tutorial great job.
the focus transfer is something I didnt realise as I mainly used Red Tides the first play through ... but now I'm in NG+2 and will switch it ups. little but. thank you ☺
I don't know wtf you're talking about.....I need a beginners to these types of games tutorial. I love this game and made it to Sage Wukong....but that's where I've been as a first timer for 2 weeks....but I'm never giving up! Thanks
Hahaha! Totally understandable, you definitely need to play the game more to get what I said in this video. At least a basic understanding of how each transformation works. I'm confident you'll get the "aha!" moment soon. I do have other more beginner friendly content on this channel. Feel free to have a look see. Cheers!
@humbleDK yeah that's what I want to avoid .pretty much everyone is 1 shoting me . I am not that good to avoid every hit so basically I am now reduced to a walking 🎯 for every boss .
@@JonySmith-bb4gx that's how it'll be dude at ng6 because our character maxes out in all aspects mostly around ng2,and you can enhance your health stamina & mana with nonary and celestial pills only once and bosses continue to scale upto ng5 I guess
I almost never use Ring of Fire, and I don't rely heavily on transformations, but this is vid is making me reconsider.

Wow. An insightful video. I seldom use transformations and it does add depth to it.
Just passing through to say thnaks for the Qi build to beat Erlang. I'm still using it on it. Works on almost all bosses like a charm
😌
Thank you! 😊 Glad to know you're enjoying the build. 🤗

Is there a way to survive bosses in Ng+5 onwards
Try build 5 from my 5 broken builds video. I went through NG6 without much issues besides getting one shot because of my own stupidity.

Hey man, i have guide on erlang up on my channel. Go check it out. Cheers
It’s nice to know azure dusts damage capabilities but that transformation’s job is not damage lol.
Agreed, he's my favorite panic button.
What proper build for golden lining
Is there a vid on TH-cam channel that talks about it
Hey sir, I have just uploaded a video on this. 😊 It's up on my channel now.
