61 was also the last year for wide white wall tires, you see a lot of people putting them on Lincolns all the way up to 69.

What a fantastic looking car! Looks amazing in the light beige. I also have a 1961 Sedan and a 1961 Convertible - both white with blue interior!

This was an event in Springfield, IL for The Lincoln Club. I have a few videos you would like from that event. Thanks for watching and your comment!

Our sixty two was the same color, which I always called a cream white, with black leather interior and black landau top. Those were such elegant cars.

Those chains will eventually snap from metal fatigue. That is tremendous leverage on them with a heavy and long car. The center of mass would normally be calculated by an engineer from the center point of the lift. By using the red part you are significantly increasing the stress on the chains by moving the center of mass farther back than intended.

I am no engineer but it sure would cause your heart to skip a bit backing one out like this. That's why I shot this. Thanks for watching and your thoughts.

That doesnt look to me like a one year only body style. The overall basic shape of the car stayed the same for several model years. From the side our sixty two looked exactly the same down to the color, except ours had a black landau top.
