I honestly think battlegrounds will be like how they have it in shindo where you actually have to buy the character to use them
that would be better than a regular battleground but tbh that would mess the main game too, cuz why grind for lvls or fruits if you can just wait for codes and get coins, fr Shindo life main game was dead cuz most of the game modes let you have an pre-set moveset without grinding

@@koolaidninja6628 People definitely played the game modes in Shindo, that's kinda all you can do after grinding in main game. It was fun too, and it wasn't p2w because you used ingame currency that can be grinded to buy characters/specs.

@@Sally_y They never had that problem cuz ginding in Shindo is tedious and boring but in Rell seas most ppl really would want to grind cuz it looks like it will be refreshing, adding a gamemode with everything unlocked in a tedious grindy game(imagine Fruits battlegrounds with that gamemode it would be awesome) would be good but if they add that kind of game mode to a game meant to be grindy in the good way and that encourages you to progress and explore would be really bad(imagine GPO or Peroxide with that kind of gamemode it would be horrible). Sorry for this text being so long lol

6:09 pretty sure he's saying something like if the opponent is below 20% hp and you use the ultimate, it does the cutscene and kills them because its a finisher. he also said its hard to hit with.

I think what RellBad meant by test the fruits is that you pick a fruit and then test it, but when the game releases fully you'll use what you have in the main game. So yes it will be just like strongest battle ground for the way you choose a fruit, BUT for testing only, when the game is released it will be changed most likely.

I agree with you regarding the battleground's mode.
Look at this way. Its like being a tester. You can test byilds there and see if they are reliable for one thing. Second is that whatever u make in the battlegrounds mode stays in the battlegrounds mode. So if u want to do smth else with the build you made there youre gonna have to go maingame and actually obtain it. If youre a strictly pvp kind of player sure u may see no incentive but not every player is the same.

I think the battleground game mode is basically you just put around. You can fight random people and you don’t lose anything, but you only use the fruit and everything from what you got from the main mode but you’ll also have the same stats as other players to make it more balance.
Itll be like in shindo where you unlock characters with special movesets and only a few moves like 4 in total, not like 10
I think what they mean by battlegrounds is like Arena X from Shindo Life where you fight in a battleground esc arena but you had all your stuff from the main game to fight with
Theyre probably gonna create characters with certain movesets which might include a fruit in the battlegrounds gamemode.
i think for the bg mode ig it will be like shindo area like you have some things first and you need to unlock the rest
Also they are gonna do it like shindo storm where they make it like custom movesets based on the in-game lore character but more revamped
Battlegrounds mode could be similar to that mode in shindo where you could pick characters from the lore with specific, smaller builds compared to the main game
in shino life u have companions, they are like pets that u receive when u kill the boss, the companions are basically the bosses u kill, i think u get to play as the bosses in the game and bosses only, only a few playable boss and not every boss and that too having to buy with ingame currency, there is a mode in shindo life where its like a battlegrounds and we play as certain bosses
i think the battleground game mode will work like how shindo has the arena thing where you pay coins for characters in the anime
I think this can be beneficial as games like Deepwoken and type soul have separate games to test out builds stats weapons etc. The purpose will could be to test out fruit weapons etc but in a secluded area not big or open world map. This would make it not as fun to have the powers but still make it useful to test out. I see no world where people would choose a battlegrounds secluded map instead of an open world map were you can actually go anywhere and use your abilities to your liking and go on various adventures and quests.
It may be like one of Shindo life's modes because they both have the same developer. So basically you would need to pay in game currency to unlock a moveset based on a character from the actual anime.
I hope they make it like in shindo storm, so u can buy abilitiy set and fight with it, but they should make it that curency to buy those characters is only anvailvable in main game
the thing is the battle grounds can just have a new set of fruits so like if u have dough it would be different in main game and different in battle grounds
For some people grinding is the fun part like I won’t be able to pvp
maybe the other gamemodes are other ways to gain exp and lvl up cuz they did say its not a bandit beater
they should make it like in type soul where u get rare rewards if u win in a special rank
I think that the game will be more of an exploratory game, where the incentive of the game is to explore. the battlegrounds mode, and other modes, seem like they are more combat focused. I think the main game won't be affected because there is a different incentive to playing each. They have said in the past that ship combat will be bigger than in other games.
I think the fruits unlocking system should be like that one game mode in shindo life where you have to buy characters with in game currency or like project smash where you can buy characters
But for rell seas it should be fruits instead

I think they should make like a playgrounds type gamemode where you can have all the fruits but its separate to the main game
@@ca.nw. still the same cake! Doesn’t make any difference. When you’re playing that battlegrounds game you’re still able to use all fruits. Because of that rell seas itself becomes uninteresting and boring quickly, since you’ve already used all fruits. But if they make a battlegrounds game with different skills and a different fruit style then yes it would be a good/better idea!

What I was thinking that the battle ground game mode we’ll probably be just testing out only early access fruits, fighting style, or etc.
They will probably make the battleground mode like arena x mode in shindo life. It could be more like shindo storm mode though where you buy character that have a set move set and fight with that.

For the gravity move its not an auto grip. Hes trying to say you will be able to use it once a olayer is below 20 percent hp and it will be difficult to land the move.
as far as i see it, its a place where players can try out weapons and fruits to see what they want to get in the main game, and they can get a player base who only plays that type of game and dosen't like grinding
it probably will just be like GPO where you can choose your gamemode, like 1v1 or battleroyal.

For battlegrounds, they should indeed make sure you already have or previously had the fruit, but to go off the idea of having every fruit in battlegrounds, they should make a separate fruit testing server with only NPCs, dunno sounds better in my head

I think it depends on the map of battlegrounds. If it’s just a small map that has only players on it then it’s no big deal. Reason I say that is you simply cannot get the same experience just because you have the fruits. There will be no bosses or any activities in battlegrounds. Just fights. You won’t experience any of the underwater content, any of the jail content, any of being a marine content, any of the bosses, the exploration of all the islands, and that by itself will make people grind for fruits on the open world mode regardless of if battlegrounds unlocks them or not. Actually it might be a better idea since you can try out the fruit in battlegrounds before fully investing in getting it in the open world. Many times I’ve wasted time in blox fruits to het a fruit that I thought was gonna be amazing but then I’d just get disappointed that it wasn’t as good as I thought, or simply wasn’t a playstyle i was interested in.
It depends on many variables, but as of right now I think I’m very neutral to it, maybe siding a bit on liking it.
I personally like it and don't see why people are complaining if anything it actually will make people be on the game more considering the know what they want

The purpose of an open world RPG is to explore now battlegrounds is a whole different genre where it heavily focuses on PvP

i think if they are gonna do battlegrounds how your interpreting it i doubt it will an issue at all, a player whos gonna hop on rell seas and not wanna play the rpg and only play battlegrounds was prolly never gonna play the main game anyway
I feel like Rell Seas knows they are gonna bring in both Real gamers who will explore all aspects of the game and 10 years olds who just want to find a quick game they can become super OP and just fight in. If you’ve played Shindo Life 2 you would know that’s a big premise of that game where they have different modes that you can play depending on what you are feeling in the moment.
I think that the finish move will be like when your opponent is less than 20% hp, u can grab him and it will kill him but It's not an auto-grab... Idk if someone understand but I do...
I’m pretty sure battlegrounds will either only let you use your current fruit, or it will only let you switch between your current fruit or ones in your inventory. I also hope they make the battlegrounds map be the dressrosa colosseum like fruit battlegrounds
Edit: I also want a tournament mode where you can win money or even devil fruits depending on if the competitors are super strong
I love the tournament idea, people who are strong with or without devil fruit trees fight and compete for huge prize rewards
@@waubqi yeah, and if the tournaments have like mostly weaker people, rewards will be money since it benefits them a lot. But if it’s primarily strong players, since money won’t do them too much, the reward could be a fruit or weapon

Nah I agree, I mean the idea is good and all but the motivation and drive to grind the game wont be there but I'm pretty sure the Rell brothers are completely aware of this. Cuz I for sure if I don't have to grind the game I won't if I can just pick my loadout and play like a regular battleground game.
Nah, what i believe is that you get use what u have in the main game, same as ranked but its a ffa and no competitive match. The more u farm in the game the better things u will have to use in the gamemode

So that if they let us use fruits in battle ground than we won't grind in main game since you cant fight the bosse,ai bots can't sail the seasand all and even after that getting something after grinding is much satisfying for example Minecraft we can get netherite in creative but we still grind for it

One thing real seas needs that other games don’t do is making all the possible character options relatively equal in power, swords fighting styles and fruits should all be equally as strong and not just making the fruits the best
Hope someone one from rell sees this and finds a way to make it work cuz like u said, it would definitely be less incentive to play the main game if u can use all the powers easily on another game mode.

Having access to all fruits and abilities in the battlegrounds game mode isn't really that big of a deal as long as the game mode is just a place for all players to just go pick a fruit and beat each other up. It doesn't matter because it's not the main game mode. It's more like a combat training area. However, I do like your idea of being able to unlock the fruits in the battlegrounds by getting the fruits in the main game mode but most likely, silver and gold players will have full access to all fruits and abilities unless they will have restricted access like pre-released fruits or abilities only. They get to test it out first before it's released.
It will probably be like gpo 1v1's, so don't worry.
I think it would be fine if the battlegrounds mode worked like a normal battlegrounds game because it would let people test things before spending time grinding for it.

Btw I think the battleground game mode would be fine. shindo has sumthing similar and they give u abilities with custom characters that they design with unique weopons (everyone character has there own weopons and characters don’t share weopons )and stuff where u gotta buy characters and stuff and people still grind main game becuase u can customize ur build and stuff (in main game) while in battleground ur limited to one fruit and weopon and stuff it really depends on if they make it like shindos battle ground or not

Battlegrounds could just be the game mode name. Doesn’t mean it’s gonna work exactly like the other ones. But I do believe the game modes should be unlocked by progressing the story.
I feel like it isn't as bad as you make it to be though. They already have something similar in Shindo Life, where it is you choose the anime specific character and get the moveset. (Choosing Minato and getting all moves that are familiar to him in the game) And it could be the same for Rell Seas. Even though Shindo has that option, you rarely see people play that specific mode as it mainly only offers currency for the actual rpg experience. At the same time the characters aren't free and actually cost the RPG currency. As for the early access portion, they would still have to buy the character when it releases but still get to test it early on even when the moveset isn't finished. That would be a good balance LOVE YOUR CONTENT BIG BRO
This is really unfortunate for me that this is not going to happen , the combat in rell seas is probably going to be a combo based combat , what i mean by that is its combat will not be like deepwoken , in deepwoken landing a combo is hella hard because you can parry things mid combo , this allows for 1 shot combos to not exist , and it also allows for the one whos getting comboed and the one who is combing a equal footing. which is the best type of combat in my opinion, and since rell seas probably wont have that type of parrying combat i am really sad.. but i still will probably enjoy it anyway , its just my opinion.
I agree it would make getting fruits much less special if you already used it before
