The Rell Seas effect definitely real. We not going to forget about that one piece game in development that just stopped its upcoming release after rell dropped their dev update. When real competition shows up, you're going to start trying to polish yourself to contend, its just natural. Also unless Blox Fruits shuts itself down theres no way its going anywhere. Games like Arcane Odyssey was peaking 100k, and blox fruits was still holding onto its 500k+ player count and just growing. The gameplay loop and number of people playing just keeps people on it for hours on end. Can't expect any game to match years worth of content (even if its 90% brainrot) on release or even in the upcoming months after.
the concept in essence is possible, its just not a thing in real life.

I personally think the biggest impact(and best) that Rell seas and hwx COULD have on the platform is pretty much force the other game developers to do better in order to compete, but then again, sometimes there's no need for competition since this is a different genre of games if compared to Blox fruits or whatever.
dude i cant wait for this game. the thing i wanna do is start out as a chef, start my crew with friends and my brothers, then i would like to raid different towns and cook to just chill out in that game. then i would like to just find treasure and live as a normal pirate. that, is what a one piece or pirate game in general should be like to me. just being a pirate and being free to do what you want with friends. i dont think you should have to bandit beat and constantly get the same quest over and over again. so im really, really, really, excited for this game.

Rell seas might not save the roblox anime community but it will save me and my friends experience
quality and visuals its def gonna be better than most other games but i just dont see how doing anything wont be a snoozefest, yea cooking and selling shit is cool af and a unique concept that has been done but never full like how they say they want it to also be a part of the main way u can lvl up not a side thing, i just dont see people doing it for the whole progression (10's of hours or more), imo people still gonna be mainly killing random shit and do all that stuff one the side, cuz whats the point of lvling stuff up if ur just gonna cook or cut down trees the whole game, like the whole system for upgrading ur weapon and armour is more prevalent than of that of lvling which gives "minor stats", just saying lvling isnt gonna be important at all since all the dmg and armour stats crome from upgrading ur equipment which only will be randomized things such as some plants or boar meat and the same person wont have the same upgrade experience as me. just dont see the insentive to lvl up and if u do why would u cook or do anything else but actually fight mobs and bosses for the majority of ur progression when u will get side stuff
Look at deepwoken tho, you can almost do whatever you want to level up but farming monsters/voidwalker bounties are the best ways to lvl up, so that's what people will do. It's not a snoozefest because you don't farm the same monsters over and over, and you're not forced to farm them over and over, you could be a lvl 1 and go grind crypt for levels as long as you have the skill to do so, imo that's rlly good. A problem with this tho is it could get really repetitive the more you wipe and stuff, but if rell seas have multiple pve/pvp leveling options and endgame content it could work out well.
@@SiahTT you arent forced to do anything in deepwoken but the best grinding is the one which people do over and over, used to be trial of one and now its either bounties or farming hard monsters from the get go cuz they already know how to fight them, in rell seas there is no incentive to keep cooking, cutting trees, selling stuff other than the fact u can and get some xp off doing it, why play the game on easy mode when you will probably (guessing here) get more xp which isnt even mainly needed since u get side stats from levels as weapon and armour upgrades are the main things that give the useful stats such as attack and defense/health. Anyways its good to have stuff to do on the side, and i really do hope cooking and farming plants will be fun to do but to most people your just going to be doing the same old stuff as you have done in almost every game, kill things because its what gives the thrill in any game, and if they arent fully sent on making that thrill then idk what the point of playing the game is other than getting a fruit and upgrading ur weapon and armour. I do hope they make progression fun tho but personally i cant see it being that much fun if their main point is that u can cook and chop trees lol
@@L0LIProp Btw my comment wasn't disagreeing with you, I agree there's no incentive to just cook your way to max level but I don't think that's what they intend to do, it might be like, cooking this meal gives a certain buff in combat so you'd cook and eat a few of them before you fight (like in deep again) and you'd probably level up in a cooking stat from doing that and higher cooking stat might give better effects or more recipes. But yeah they seem to be cooking up a lot of stuff for endgame pve content, especially with that new 7 depths sea sneak we got, that's fs endgame content and 7 depths is a LOT to do, but yeah I hope the pve/pvp progression before endgame will at least be fun and engaging.

Im suprised yall werent aware this was just a stunt for a joke they said this before but it was easily missable. The game isnt gonna change the entire platform but it could very well make influence on games but they themselves know its all for fun and drama to bring attention to rell seas.

glad that the rell brothers finally admitted that the "rell seas effect" isnt a real thing and it never was (as the minority including myself already knew), makes me have a bit more respect for them since they are now being realistic accepting that their game is good but will not change the roblox platform in the slightest.
They said a bit before on a voice chat and on ogvex channel that the rell seas effect was just a publicity stunt to bring attention to their game. They said all this before time that it's just a joke.

Here is some info on the whole Rell Seas and Blox Fruits boat situation. So players of blox fruits have been asking for the ship system to be different since update 14 which was a couple of years ago. Before Rell Seas was in the making and they have finally listened to the community with the ships, they did this because the saw Rell Seas as a competitor so they are trying to make there game better to keep the players that play there game up. Basically They are just trying to listen to the community to keep up the 400K+ players playing the game hooked.

I’m a Blox Fruits player. Tbh when the Rell Seas movie 1 released, I genuinely liked it no cap. But after seeing the Dev Log 1, Dev Log 2 and all those random stuff talked on Twitter I just feel like not playing Rell Seas anymore like developing a game is not about talk shit with another game. But since now I’ll see how this beef goes and if Rell Seas actually focused on their development then I will play it on Release and leave a like.

the problem with every anime game is its either a cash grab, a bandit beater, a simulator, or (very rare) a game made with love put into it and that's the problem, there is little to no games out there, blox piece used to be a good game but now it just turned into blox piece. GPO is basically one pieceafied deepwoken but without the other engines. Rell Seas is basically like GPO but "more higher graphics" even though its been in the works for like what? a year and they had an excuse which was "graphics change". AOPG IS A CASH GRAB NOW, IT USED TO BE MY FAV GAME BUT IT JUST BECAME DOGSHIT. Every other one piece game is copying off of blox fruits/GPO so they can make money off of ideas they didn't originally have. Battlegrounds games are basically the equivalent to mortal combat if they were P2W. Every one piece game is absolute dogshit now and at this point any one piece game that says their the "Big Dog" is straight up lying, the hype is fake for every "Major Update".

I don't think Rell Seas can surpass Blox Fruit since Blox Fruit runs on low-end mobiles and computers and is made up of the majority of children who don't know what a good game it is.
Also for Rell Sea to surpass Blox Fruits is that you can have fun from the beginning, however, Blox Fruits requires large amounts of farming.
They should add a hunter class in rell seas where the hunter job is to hunt animals to get meat and give it to the chef for him to cook with that meat or they can sell the meat

I play a lot of Roblox anime games and I'm pretty sure I know why Blox Fruits is better in the player count than most other one-piece games, the graphics, Rell Seas, GPO, and other one-piece games look too much alike and I think it doesn't
resonate with younger audiences as Blox Fruits has Colourful and bright things in their game, they also use addiction to keep players playing, but most games on Roblox thrive on good first experiences and if the players want to play it, Blox Fruits made it simple and that's why it appeals to younger audiences, this is just what i think about this whole what game is better thing, i like a lot of one piece games but Rell seas got big potential in the up coming.
i personally have no problem with blox fruits cuz it depends on what i wanna play like if i know a game is bad and is pretty much dead i would play it IF i feel like it like, if i feel like playing aut EVEN THO ITS COMPLETE GARBAGE AT THE MOMENT i would play it

Honestly I don’t even see this game rivaling Blox Fruits (let alone kill it). As said in the video, Rell Seas is gonna appeal to more mature audiences while blox fruits is gonna keep appealing to kids. And as sad it might sound, there are MUCH more kids playing this game. Simple games like Blox Fruits always get the biggest player bases and that’s the simple truth. I think Rell Seas is gonna have 30k players AT BEST. No matter how well made it would be.

Rell seas will kill blox fruits even if it’s not player count wise. Rell seas will undoubtedly be a better game in every aspect so it will either attract all of the blox fruits fanbase or the top 10% of players turning blox fruits into nothing more than a small group of sweat kids killing mobile toddlers effectively killing the game either way.

can Rell Seas save Roblox? nah, it will help roblox, since you need to just add more good games for Roblox to be saved, but 2024 could probably save Roblox and Rell Seas is gonna be a big part of that, why? because Rell Seas can do two things:
1.Just be very good and give a lot of players
2.Make a whole damn Roblox era because people will want to be as good as Rell Seas are.

i find blox fruits extremely boring and hard to play since I have to tape my eyes open once I've been in game for more than 10 minutes, even though I'm part of the "younger" generation (gen alpha) I like games that take skill and stuff like deep woken and tell seas which is why I'm really looking forward to its release.
