Great vlog guys! I emphasize with the sauces not being that good on their own, in some places that’s the case, mostly kebab restaurants and especially fish restaurants have good sides “meze’s” but it’s really a hit or miss in touristy areas of Istanbul. Aegean area and Mediterranean west for fish and meze’s are unbeatable and East Mediterranean and Southeast Turkey best for kebabs and meat dishes, along with good sides also for baklava. Honorable mention Black Sea region also has some unique foods. Interior Anatolia has good meat dishes as well, Thrace region is known for meatballs ( kofte). I got a bit carried away but yeah. =)
