This is long awaited because a few of you asked if I have a sewing pattern and I'm happy to let you know I do have one now, you can get it using this link www.makerist.com/patterns/reversible-satin-bonnet-pattern
wow, i really don't even know which of the color i love most, i love how reversable it is, you said you spent almost 3hrs on it, that alot of time o, but i undertsand its because you are filming, pele, its not easy o doing this and filming at the same time, by his grace, you will be succesful at it. welldone babes
Interesting, didn’t know there was a curved ruler, really helps with the outline. Love the way you explained this, very detailed and understandable for non professionals. Only 3 hours, not bad at all. Love the size and the fact that it’s reversible 👏🏽🙌🏽
I watched this for the second time so lovely and well detail but I do have trouble getting a nice fabric as this please can you tell me where you gets yours I stay at Lagos.
Thank you so much and I'll have to agree with you, I haven't seen fabrics of this quality in Lagos yet but I'm still searching, I didn't make this when I was in Nigeria, but I do get most of my fabrics from balogun market or ladega market in ikorodu
this is absolutely beautiful I saw it trending on IG like damn I can't wait to get a sowing machine and start making projects like these and I absolutely love the colors
The size is what is attracting me 😍😍 The curved ruler is very important 👌🏾👌🏾 I’ll add this length to the next bonnet I’m making I usually do 13 by 13 Hmm so there’s a look turner?? Wonderful!!!
Well, nice video! However, I would suggest you to try a reversible satin bonnet without the need of adding 2 single different colors strips, which makes is too much. But rather try a two-color strip to easy the feel. I hope, it could help. Keep up the good work. God bless you, sista 😘
It doesn’t seems to me that you are not good at math with that huge ruler 😁I really love the idea of adjustable bonnet , the material and colors are beautiful. Very neat and job well done , I can’t get enough of the size 😍😍❤️❤️
I used two different colours, one colour at the top of the sewing machine that matches the colour of side of the bonnet facing upwards and another colour for the bobbin that matches the colour of the side below
It depends on the age, for new newborns, the measurement you'll need would be 5.5-6in instead of the measurement used in this video and the elastic band for the head circumference would be between 13-14 inches For kids between between 1-12 months old would have a measurement between 6-7 inches and the elastic band would be between 14-18 inches For kids between 1-10 years the measurement would be between 7.5-8.5inches while the elastic band would be between 18-21 inches I hope I answered your question well, but if not feel free to ask any question and thank you for watching
This has very little elastic band that is about 4 inches long as you can see, but if you want one with none at all, then this video is for you th-cam.com/video/upht3Ghj_fM/w-d-xo.html

Yes it would be

1.5 yard should be enough for a large sized bonnet like this
It’s really pretty

Please how did you hold the elastic inside before closing it up
I sewed the elastic on both sides to the satin fabric and used a zig-zag stitch so it could stretch easily
Ty

This is very nice.
Thank you so much
How do you get each colour thread to match each side?
I used two different colours, one colour at the top of the sewing machine that matches the colour of side of the bonnet facing upwards and another colour for the bobbin that matches the colour of the side below
