I want people to realize that Capcom literally recreated Gabriel Belmont as a Monster Hunter Elder Dragon. He starts out as Primordial Malzeno, a benevolent hunter of creatures that stalk the living and feast on them. Creatures that would end the world, if given the chance. But once he destroys the worst of them all, he finally falls prey to the darkness that he’s been hunting all this time, becoming the darkest embodiment of what he once hated. And he waits for a death that he believes will never come.
I don't remember completely the story, but Gabriel Belmont was deceived since the beginning by "Zobek" that he would be able to revive Maria by getting the so called mask. Willingly accepting the task, and finding until the very end, that it was just for naught. Later with some luck he took the blood of a vampire and killed something close that was after the power to become a "deity"... To then being persecuted for his own family for being immortal. Long story short after 2 entries "Dracul" saves the world by helping "an old friend". Sounds kinda close but here seems like the first Malzeno got completely consumed. And the last one is actually fighting that "plague" (not sure about trying to revive a loved one XD) And the other Belmont was Leon if I remember correctly... (The original story)... Nah I don't remember after so long but something kinda similar happened.

@@Amatsu_storm_approach My bad, the first one just didn't appear for me the first time I replied for some reason! Also pretty funny that you're complaining about opinions being subjective and appearing on a channel just to hate about something when you are once again replying to a comment from someone you've never interacted with posted a year ago with one singular like to tell them your own, also very subjective, opinion. And I didn't say I don't like it, I just think it's super mediocre, though given world and iceborne I think that's modern monhun's forte. So I guess it's a good modern monhun expansion after all ;)
Man that ending cutscene is really lame. I wish they would have had defeating the qurio as some actual mechanic in the fight and not just in a really underwhelming final cutscene.
It was not even supposed to have this fight, it's a bonus update that wasn't planned you should be thankful to had this masterpiece monster as something that almost didn't make it out
Yea no this cutscene was based as fuck. An elder dragon thats not known to be a chaos bringer but a holy knight of justice? INJECT IT INTO MY VAINS!
Agreed but fight is so cool I could forgive it.
Sorry my guy this is a really shit take
They couldn't do that because then you wouldn't be able to do anomaly quests or quirios crafting after this mission
Woman just state the fucking obv. Women ☕️☕️
What an underwhelming fight
on what planet???
@@TheMoonman4 This was just the same Malzeno fight but with a different ultimate.
