I think you should have alexeyev med top 4 and lucas johansen top med 6
I understand cozens is a good young player but no one is as vocal and happy to be a Saber as Alex tuch. I know that it is not the biggest thing if he doesn't get the C but I feel that he deserves it as he was playing his heart out last season and is probably one of the only hockey players who is excited to be a Saber. That's just my 2 cents but I would really appreciate it if you took this into consideration
As a Sabres fan, it’s only right to give Tuch the C. Once he recovered from his injury and joined the squad mid season, the teams record and morale sky rocketed. Players and fans love the hometown boy

All of them do. As a sabres fan watching this team, they are having fun. They all said that they want the season to keep going in a positive way not a negative

Put Power and Krebs in the nhl. From experience, Krebs usually turns out to be 89 if he develops right

As a sabres fan who watched 40+ games this season, it's tough to see how things turned out here. Alot of guys showed promise, and others showed less than hoped for. It's really hard to see how each player will develop in the future, but I'm extremely excited to watch this franchise. Thanks for the love tactix!

i so happy to see this not a buffalo fan but resulted in one of my fastest and most fun rebuilds that ive done (somehow won the cup in 2 yrs). they are such an interesting team to rebuild with dahlin tage cozens power jj peterka quinn and more

You should rule that every player above 79 OV (80+) in the ahl at the end of a season as to make the NHL or be traded. You can put an age restriction (like 28+ can stay in the AHL). That way young player don't get stuck at 80 in the AHL and don't develop into good players.
I've seen so many players that you kept in the AHL over the last franchises that made it into high 80s low 90s in my own franchises. Give them a chance to show what they can do (with Buffalo or on another team)
Absolutely you're going to win a cup before Eichel does. You have such finesse when it comes to building teams in this game. Year 2 is already looking really solid except for the 3rd D pair. Won't take long before they become playoff contenders.

I actually just started a franchise with your custom players (except I gave Nemec a couple Xfactors cause I think he's the best defenseman in the draft). Drafted Nemec in the first round and in year one he grew like crazy for me in the AHL. He's now 22 and a 91 on the top pair. :')
Sidenote: Last year I drafted a low elite dman in the 7th round was rated like 250th so a bit of a reach. Turned out to be a 62 overall, pretty good.. And in his one year in Russia he grew to a 76! Really cool to see a potential Zetterberg/Datsyuk pick happen.
Thanks for showing us how you do your scouts. Do you just choose the A+ regions then auto assign them to players or do you assign all 20 scouts yourself? Assigning scouts seems to take up most of my time on franchise mode and it's tedious and doesn't seem to even help much in the draft (keep drafting players with lower potential than their draft position would suggest). I always assign scouts to look at potential and comparison and use 18 amateur scouts and only 2 pro scouts

Say you draft a player how do you place them into your lineup for the season, or do they have to play in the lower league first
As a caps fan, I had a visceral reaction to that McMichael trade.
How do you turn all the guys like Power info the game?
TacTix, I would say strip Power of the A because it’s still his first year, then either give Tuch the A and Cozens the C or vice versa then when Power has a few seasons under his belt either strip someone of their captaincy or run 4 A’s or just leave it how it is.
next year you should do montreal build around wright or maybe slafkovsky but i doubt it

Are all the features with owner mode and morale not worth it? I find myself over worrying about stuff that seemingly makes no difference. Should I turn it off?

I really wish Detroit picked up Yukon player Cozens but had taken Seider. Only because I live in the NWT and Dylan Cozens made a huge accomplishment being up north.

Using the Sabres in franchise mode is so fun because all the cap they have. Hope in real life GMKA takes advantage of it and doesn't mess up!
i just had a draft where the top 5 were mid but there were 80 ovr med top 6 med top 4 all the way till around 25 then it dropped to mid 60s med top6/top4
Search thru teams see which thier lowest trade value contract is typically you can take that contract and a mid to high pick for a 7th.
Next can you do capitals
