- It was the heaviest snowfall in the last 30 years. In that cold night, many stray cats were hosted by animal lovers in their warm homes. The cry for help of a cold stray cat on a heavy snowy day. Let's warm it up.
The cat that has been living in the garden of our house for 2 years. All care of this cat is done by our neighbor and us. People wanted to adopt her many times. However, she did not want to be adopted. You can never keep her in one house for more than a day. When this cat wants to enter our house, it comes to our door and meows. After spending one night in our house, she returns to the garden.
So where did this cat take shelter on that night of heavy snowfall? In cold weather, you can take a stray animal into your home and save its life. All the cats in our house were rescued from the street and adopted by us. We also help thousands of stray animals every month.
Do you know that my wife, who can get among hundreds of wild animals, is only afraid of this cat? Because this cat sent my wife to the hospital twice before.

That's how felines are, but we both know that. They'll love you. They are also Alpha emotional animals. Dogs are domesticated animals. Cats are wild animals that have learned how to live with humans. Quite different vectors there.

EDIT: I am an old cat lover! My "Baby Girl" will be 15 years of age on March 1, 2022! She was abandoned at a very early age (I would guess she was about 5 weeks old). They left her under a huge pile of garbage on a cold and rainy April day here in Colorado. And those cold rainy April days will chill you to the bone!

I feed 100 feral cats a day. I love these people. What they do is exhausting and thankless. He said they fed the cat before but it didn't want to stay inside. I can pick up a lot of my ferals, especially those I've fed since kittens. I'm the feeder. They trust me.

You are good person. I have fed feral cats and adopted those whom I was able to catch. There was a period of adjustment, but cats are never safe in places where people love guns more than lives.

What kind a beautiful people. When I was a kid a cat showed up on our back porch in the winter with ice on him. Someone has thrown water on him and it froze. We took him in and I loved him for the remaining 10+ years of his life.

I live in a small house. all 19 cats I have are rescued. all castrated. the average age with me is 10 years. one of them is very old, about 16 years old and the last rescue was a baby in December.

I adopted a stray cat myself, He showed up on Thanksgiving at my front door as I was letting my family come in. He is super happy and lives very good thank God he was fixed. I love him so much but I can't figure out a good name for him. He reminds me of my black cat growing up named Magic. 🙏❤️👍👍

I love letting stray cats into my house when its cold out, they all always rush in and find somewhere comfortable and warm to stay. it makes me really happy seeing a cold baby warm up after being in the cold :) Cats deserve so much love and trust.

Good people. I've been feeding a neighborhood stray for ten years now; she doesn't want to move in. I've built her a heated condo to kick back in--she lives in it during winter (cooling pad in summer as we're in the desert). How people could abandon pets is beyond my comprehension.

It's amazing that even in dire winter conditions this cat is willing to come inside and snuggle up. I have stayed in remote areas in some countries and fed feral cats and no matter what the conditions they would eat outside but were terrified of coming indoors. I am afraid this speaks of the cruel treatment they had previously received from humans. You and your wife are wonderful people but there are too few like you all around the world.
While "cruel treatment" might happen, the vast majority of ferals are that way simply because they have no socialization. Socialization means enough human interaction so that the cat becomes comfortable around humans.The critical period is until about four months after birth, after which it becomes significantly more difficult to socialize kittens. That's why the population of ferals are managed by a TNR (trap-neuter-release) programs, they cannot be socialized in a reasonable manner although it's possible if you're willing to spend a lot of time and effort.

Over the years various cats have shown up at my home. All have been taken in an fixed. Some have been adopted, but all those who weren’t lives happily with us. They know who to trust.

I don't know ...that does not look like a feral cat. A stray who's been fed by people living in that apartment complex maybe but that is not a feral cat. Feral cats would not let them pick her up like that:) Still they are good people and she is a sweet kitty:)
@@calidag After taking care of countless number of cats for close to 3 decades, you are 100% correct. These are community "stray" cats and certainly not feral. These cats are typically fed by a number of people and thus this cat has no single owner but roams about. I currently have six cats and I feed an additional three who appear from time to time but never stay and just move on after eating.
