Jeremy Clarkson may usually take to the camera for The Grand Tour, but today he's stepped in front of the camera to update his fans on his condition after catching Covid-19 over the Christmas period. I find it terrifying that if someone who would/should be the poster child for comorbidity (from age, physical condition and living habits) “beat it” with no problem, that we’ve allowed the governments of the world unprecedented control over our lives for NOTHING.
We’ve doomed a generation to an impending massive global economic depression, starved millions in the third world, given tyrannical governments knowledge on how far they can impose on our freedoms without repercussions, opened the door to new levels of censorship, and god knows what else, over a glorified cold.
To be fair he's more physically active than most people in their sixties (hell he's more physically active than a lot of people in their twenties).
Sure his lifestyle is over indulgent and full of bad habits which have no doubt started to catch up with him but he's shown brilliant fortitude and resilience in the

i love his zero tolerance for media nonsense, he's a flawed character for sure, but the transparency and comic personality makes him a national treasure in spite of it all. I miss his old documentaries on the war.
