You two work together really well and the wood floor looks amazing, can't wait to see the finished floors with the stain! I have a Charlie dog that is as helpful as your Colt ~ they love to be involved and "help" out - right! Looking forward to your next phase on the cabin floor. Great work!!!
Wow, you two are amazing. You work so hard and it definitely pays off. I love the floors and it is going to be so beautiful when they are stained. What a wonderful cabin!
That floor is gorgeous, just right for the cabin! I know you and Cory are having to have it done! That’s a lot of tedious work to do! Great job! Owing along so nice! ❤
Nice to see you back at the cabin. Did you ever think about putting cedar boards in the closet? It helps with bugs and things. Beautiful job done on the floors. They really add alot to your cabin. Have a good week😊😊
Floor looks great...When u go to get stain a really nice stain is MinWax -Early American it would look sweet.....Colt is a beautiful dog...And he has an amazing name I can say that for sure because my name is Colt..👍👍😎
The floor looks great. Cory and you did a nice job! It's very impressive that you are doing this all yourselves. I also like that shed that you had all that wood stored in. Did Cory build that too?
Looking really nice! My sister and her husband have an "off grid" cabin on Two Island (they live on Devil Track). They will eventually bring in water and electric though. I'm in the cities but visit up there whenever I can. Cheers!
@@BS.-.- the table saw part. It was just sketchy with the birch saplings being so thin and not being straight. It put sideways pressure on the blade that can be dangerous.
13:33 I like your sweatshirt... if you don't own garments featuring: Deer, Eagles, Wolves, Fish or U.W. Stout... I gotta question if you're even a local.
What a jurney you to are on ! The cabin is priceless ❤ your time together building together and taking us along❤❤❤ Thank You ❤
You guys did a fantastic job with that floor. Honestly, I don’t know how can leave at the end of the weekend. Such a peaceful location.
I LOVE the mixed hardwoods!!!!! And I agree, keep the interesting looking boards where they catch your eye.
I’m so glad you decided not to divide the rooms up. Beautiful ❤

Kory and Jody, the floors look great! I am sure both of your knees and backs hurt. I just hope it isn’t too bad. Have a great week. See you next time.
The flooring really makes the cabin. The imperfections in the wood tells a story. It's beautiful 😍
Looks so good guys, great job.
Thanks for the video.
Great job!

That’s a good point. Maybe we will do the rest in cedar if we have enough left from the bathroom.
The floor looks fantastic!!! Can't wait to see what it looks like when you stain it!

Sure would have been nice to have a stapler…
😂😂😂 I was hoping you’d watch and see that.
Its a good idea to put a divider because you may decide to put a door on your bedroom and then you cant tell that theyre not totally straight xxx
I taught tree were older back then less lime in wood the wood we use now younger
I love the talking it makes a great video. Sorry cant resist is the ladder still there. Is it a storing place😂
You should cover your miter saw with a tarp when you're not using it when it's raining.
Yes! It wasn’t supposed to rain so we didn’t go find a tarp… oops!
I would fill all the gaps with Plaster of Paris..its perfect..it sands, stains and can mimic as Wood and is very durable..or Duroc Plaster..
He's part of flooring sweet pup just want to be a part of y'all
Yes he’s perfect. ❤️
Looks really good you couldn't have done if you didn't have your helper with you
Colt really pulls his weight.
🥰
How did you cut the 1/4 round birch tree trim?
With a table saw, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.
@@jodimiddendorf Why not? The useing a table saw part or the birch trim part?
@@BS.-.- the table saw part. It was just sketchy with the birch saplings being so thin and not being straight. It put sideways pressure on the blade that can be dangerous.
Just saying shouldn’t you cover your saw so it doesn’t get wet in the rain?
Yup. It wasn’t supposed to rain. So we didn’t take the time to go get a tarp. Oops!
Where is your cabin located ?
Minnesota!

Hope you had some good knee pads😂
They didn't include the knots and "interesting" imperfections to make the wood more durable and uniform.
too much unessary talking
