When you visually test the airflow with the fog machine, don't put it right up to the case and shot the fog in. To get a true reading of the air flow, shoot the fog in front of the PC case from the side and after a cloud builds up remove the fog machine, you will then see how the case/fan performance draws the ambient air in and exhausts it. ;)
Main selling point for this case to me is the lack of a tempered glass window, but still having an acrylic one. Case would of looked ten times better too without the RGB fans and lighted with a led light bar on top which would of lit up the whole case window.
I have this case. To be honest it's an oven - very little airflow due to the amount of metal (those holes are tiny and there are nowhere near enough of them). In the end I fixed it by cutting 2 x 114mm holes in the case - one in the bottom so that a 120mm fan can feed air to the GPU and one in the rear so my 120mm AIO has uninterrupted airflow outwards. I also have 2x140mm fans in the front as intake and 2x120mm fans in the top as exhaust. That solved all the issues I was having with case temps. Ryzen 5800X3D, RTX 3080.
@@ian9615 I got rid of it because my RTX3070 was reaching 83 degrees inside and sounded like a jet engine, even after I added TWO 140mm high rpm fans in the front, this case is okay for lower power components like GTX1050 TI which is 1/3 TDP of 3070
@@klasztornik847 I was thinking to get this case with a RTX3060Ti, do you think this model will also get too hot like your RTX3070 in this case? Maybe I should get a bigger case then.
I am not quite sure if that will work. I would recommend reaching out to cooler master support to see if they could answer that question! Here is the link: www.coolermaster.com/support/ cnl
probably, it'll fit all/most micro atx motherboards including the h510, but if you wanna see for yourself go to pc part picker and check for yourself, shows you whats compatible and whats not
I'm sorry to hear about your difficulty in finding fans that fit the Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L case. The Q300L is designed to support various fan configurations, so finding compatible fans shouldn't be a problem. It's important to check the specific fan size and mounting options required by the case. The Q300L supports up to six fans in total, including two 120mm fans in the front, one 120mm fan in the rear, and two 120mm fans on the top. Alternatively, you can use a 240mm radiator in the front for liquid cooling. It's recommended to choose fans that match the case's specified sizes and mounting positions to ensure proper installation and optimal airflow. If you're having trouble finding compatible fans, consider reaching out to Cooler Master's customer support or consulting with a PC hardware specialist who can provide you with suitable recommendations based on your specific needs and preferences. cnl
found this on amazon for $40. Was considering it until I saw how small it is. And that bottom filter looks like a total pain...hard pass. i do like how you can move the front I/O...nice touch
I bought one of these and it's garbage, like so many other Cooler "master" products. I ended up having to cut holes just to get some air in there. The filters are less than 50% and the panels behind are also less than 50%. Terrible product.

um. thanks?

Add two upper 120's/140's the front drawing in, the rear top exhausting the heat

I'm going with a 1660 super and a 12400 for the build I'm doing in this case.
Nice!

Not bad for a $42 case.

How many fans should I buy and which ones lol you recommend the ones you used ? I bought case I just don’t know if it comes with fans
It'll probably come with at least a couple fans

What you think of putting AIO fans 240 mm upfront, adding new 120mm fan rear and puting their 120 mm fan uptop? Thanks!
I like it! Great config!
Good review. A lot of attention to details. :)

David I was wanting to know if you could provide a parts list please?
For my pc, the power supply was the hardest part to mount. The screws are in the worst place

Can I put 3 120 fans in the front with this case?
No either 2 120mm, 2 140mm or 1 240mm radiator!

maximum of 360mm length card, look your card model and be the judge !

Can you use integrated display and GPU display together?

I don't believe so. Once you install a GPU the onboard graphics will be disabled on most motherboards.

I fit the ak400 or ag400, i forget, but there's clearance and like a half inch room above it.
Can it fit a 240radiator in the front?
Yes! Check the images in the affiliate link in our description!
