So glad to have you back on this channel! I love any time these videos come out and i’m actually gonna look at using this build at least as a starting point
Crazy the prices now compared to pre-COVID. Had someone build a $500 gaming PC for my daughter and was able to add quite a bit more. RGB and fans also included.
I am trying to pick up pointers on building a PC. I watch build videos every chance I get and fortunately for me my memory of what I have seen and heard is pretty good. This channel is new to me. Thank you for posting this
0:49 for a knife I use a ruike knife to open and cut boxes, cool little pocket knife, I personally use the P 801 knife which isn’t that expensive to me and I love it, if you really really want a cool one, I think a gambit knife would work
Hey I’m new to this channel and for what I have seen these videos are real informative and helpful and done very well. I’m also studying A+ as well and it’s helping me as well get a better understanding of what things do and what they mean and how they work together. Great video.
something to note... at 15:40 the game utiliaztion - CPU @ 49%, GPU @ 98%. That little i3 isn't breaking a sweat on there... the GPU is doing all the work. And VR headset can be supported on this. (I have a GTX1060 with my Quest 2).
Awesome vid, always love budget oriented builds, since expensive rigs are a dime a dozen. For a future upgrade to the 1070 ti, I'd go with an AMD Radeon 6700 XT for more VRAM. NVIDIA has been gimping consumers with low VRAM since 30 series and the trend continues, unless you plunker $1600+ for a 4090.
Sent this video to some buddies who are starting to build their first PC on a budget. Itll definitely help. Also I'm glad it has good frames in the gulag, whats the point of having a PC in the first place if you get bad frames in the place you're going to be playing the most.
Prices fluctuate alllllll the time, but this is not a $700 build even right now. It's about $540. I just grabbed links from Amazon to include in the description because it's the easiest place to go and gives everyone an easy place to grab all of the info from the products shown.
w nano im selling the pc im on rn typing this to my best frined for 500 and needed a p-c but didnt wanna buy one prebuilt and seeing how crazy this is i think im gonna build this THANK YOU
Awesome video, glad to see you posting some tech vids! My thoughts on the budget though (as a PC gamer): at this price point a PS5 is so much more tempting for the masses. It's a shame how out of reach quality PC gaming is for a lot of people.
I would like to point out that case is, in fact, a hotbox. It has almost no ventilation since the holes are spaced so badly in the front and on the top. I took a dremel to mine and cut out squares where the fans go, worked great after that with just the magnetic filters.
Im not alone! Did the same with mine as i dont want to buy a new case. Had to modify a bit to make sure fans dont hit the case after cutting squares. Works great and have it for around 4 years now.
I have 0 problems whatsoever. But i don t cram a 1000$ build inside, like a guy who put a Ryzen 7 then cried it overheated. The case is for budget matx 100-300$ builds.
@ You may have had no problems but, obectively, anything you put in that case will run hotter than if you used most of the other cases within it's price range. My point was that the case isn't worth it's MSRP. I didn't put a $1000 built in mine. I put a Ryzen 5600 and a RX 3070 in it. But I live in Phoenix, Arizona where the ambient temperature can get to 114 F (mid 40's Celsius for people unfamiliar with Freedom Units). So having a well ventilated case is important where I live regardless of the components used inside. It's a badly designed case, objectively. That's not an opinion. The holes are too spaced out and leave too much metal blocking air intake and outflow to achieve competent airflow as determined by the performance of other cases within this case's original MSRP. In case you didn't notice, I own this case. I modified it, but I did buy it because I thought it looked cool. I knew it's limitations, but I also knew how to overcome them. It's a product, not your spirit animal. Don't take criticism of a product personally.
1070 ti is an interesting choice. Its right near the end of support from nvidia for drivers, Id be spooked building with it. On the amd side you at least have nimez drivers when the card is no longer supported. Also, for about the same cost you could get an amd 6600m off of aliexpress from risc51, about 180 usd.
Ima use the build list. I've been trying to find a gaming PC for a while, but they're too expensive. I just want something strong enough to play the 3 main games I play right now. I'll update everybody once it's made 😁
Nice build. I will use this as a reference for the build for my 9 year old. Also please just sharpen your knife. Don't be that guy that buys a new knife whenever it gets dull 😂
I was waiting for the April Fools joke to kick in, but then it turned out to be a totally serious PC build with real benchmarking at the end. I guess I was the fool all along.
I think if the budget is pushed to $600 it might be possible to pick up a 1TB NVME and maybe a second hand RX 6600 XT. Perhaps some of the remaining budget can even be allocated for a 600w PSU as well.
My only change would be a 1tb NVME, there are a few gen 3 drives that can be had for ~$40-50 and 512 is honestly getting to the point of 'too small' with how large games are getting now a days.
hi, why won't you overlay the fps counter etc. in real time in the video? camera man is set up at the furthest point of your screen , so 70+fps could be your highs , what about average ? how consistent is it? Seems shady to me.
would this build be even better with an i7? im asking cuz i genuinely do not know. I want to build a pc that can handle sons of the forest on at least medium settings. I have looked at some pre builds but i hear tons of mixed things and seems a little sketchy. This seems great for $500 and i can order all the parts today. Just curious about that cpu.
It was purchased off eBay. There's plenty of listings live right now for a similar price to how much this one was. And yes, it's really $500. Prices fluctuate every day, but I just did quick math and it can all be purchased for $540 without even searching around for better prices. 👍

It's been months since the last tech video. Glad you're doing these again😃
I don’t know jack about tech (especially computer tech) but I really do enjoy these kinds of videos!

Thanks for the great build! I was so surprised to see you using the same case I have, so this was awesome!
Happy to see another tech video. Really missed them!

Thanks Nano this really hepled me, hope you do some more tech stuff soon
Not sure if this makes sense, but I always felt like you looked like a tech youtuber, so when you started this channel I was hyped.
Glad to see Nano tech is back!

You should invest in a CRKT knife, plenty of blade options and tons of utility 10/10 best knife I've ever owned
Nano would love to see a vid on your thoughts on the steam deck I’m contemplating on getting it
It's on the list!
not kidding i click on this channel the other day to see if i had missed anything, just for there to be smth a few days later.

Working on a strict $500 budget, I chose to go with better choices in other departments. Some people are sticklers on these price point vids lol
GIVE US MORE CONTENT ON NANO 2 I LOVE SEEING U PLAY OTHER GAMES
Nano how are you in apex? Like level, ranked rank, or something? What do you think about it?
Try Red Dead Redemption and God of War on the PC.
7:07 it did actually take a year for this video to come out 💀

Yo does anyone know if this pc runs vr games well
That gaming PC is Way Cool
How does Elden Ring run on this PC?
game suggestions: Valorant and Apex

@Chilli5555 I appreciate that bro..I screenshotted this lol..I'm not good with the model #s of all these CPUs 😂
Interesting how we come to see normal looking PCs without RGB "on a budget"
Can this also stream the games?
Everytime I try to save for even a 3kish PC build something in my life happens so maybe I can do this just to have a PC
I need to start saving up 😭 I'll be done in abt 5decades
The motherboard isn't available anymore do you know of another one that would work nano?

try out CS:GO, not an overly intensive game but I am interested to see the FPS on a competitive game like that
shheeeeesh no way im first to a nano tech
why dont you show the gpu at the start?
For testing cpu I always use minecraft as a reference because minecraft is very cpu intensive.
